The rumors of Hopkins and Cox dating started in 2010, three years after Cox separated from her daughter's father, David Arquette. They both co-starred in the sitcom 'Cougar Town' and once after the show they were seen to be having dinner together. Further the speculations widened when he was pictured on holiday with Cox and her daughter, Coco. However, in 2011, Hopkins denied any story associated with the his relationship with Cox.

Who is Josh Hopkins?

William Joshua Hopkins, popularly known as Josh Hopkins, was born on 12 September 1970 in Lexington, Kentucky, USA. He is the son of former the United States Member of the House of Representatives, Larry Hopkins, and his wife Carolyn. He attended Auburn University in Auburn, Lee County, Alabama. 

His career began in 1996 in the film Parallel Son. The same year, he also appeared in Law & Order. Next, he gained more popularity for his work in the series New York Undercover. And then, from 2001 to 2002, he appeared on the series Ally McBeal where he played the role of Raymond Millbury. 

Following that, Hopkins appeared as a recurring cast in the series Brothers & Sisters and a semi-regular in the series Vanished, where he portrayed the role of Peter Manning. In addition, he played Charlie Babcock in the series Pepper Dennis. Then in 2008, he played the character of Roger Thompson in the series Swingtown. Subsequently, in 2009, Hopkins played the role of Dr. Noah Barnes in season 2 of ABC's Private Practice.

After that he became widely recognized for starring opposite Courtney Cox on the sitcom Cougar Town. The show premiered on 23 September 2009, and he played the character Grayson Ellis on the show. Likewise, he began the role of Liam O'Connor, a seasoned FBI agent working in the academy on the series Quantico. Further, Hopkins also appeared on the series Whiskey Cavalier, where he played the role of Ray Prince. Unfortunately, the show was canceled by ABC after its first season.

Despite being popularly known for his appearances in series, Hopkins has also made appearances in different movies such as Love & Sex, One-eyed King, where he played the role of Chuck, Lebanon, P.a. where he played the role of Will. In addition, in the 2014 movie, Get on Up, he played the role of Ralph Bass. Likewise, he played the role of Mike Reynolds in the Car Dogs in 2014.
