Joseph Mawle (b. March 21, 1974) is an English actor who portrayed Adar in the first season of Amazon Studios' TV series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.[1] The role of Adar was recast as Sam Hazeldine for Season Two.
Mawle has appeared in numerous film and theatre productions since 1998, most notably The Passion, Birdsong, and Game of Thrones.
