Jordan Peele

Founder/CEO

Jordan Peele is an Oscar- and Emmy-winning director, writer, actor, producer, and founder of Monkeypaw Productions. Peele’s first feature film, "Get Out," was a critically acclaimed blockbuster, recognized with four Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture. The film would earn Peele the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay. His second feature, "Us," broke numerous box-office records, becoming the biggest opening for an R-rated original film in history when released in March of 2019 to widespread critical praise. Peele’s third feature, the original horror epic, "Nope," opened in the summer of 2022 to rave reviews, the No. 1 slot at the box office, and once again becoming a widely discussed cultural phenomenon. Five years in the making, Peele produced and co-wrote Henry Selick's stop-motion animated feature, "Wendell & Wild," to which he also lent his voice as one of the title characters. Under the Monkeypaw banner, Peele co-wrote and produced Nia DaCosta’s "Candyman" which made history as the first film helmed by a Black woman director to open at No. 1 at the box office. He also produced Spike Lee’s "BlacKkKlansman," which earned a nomination for Best Picture and won an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay. He has also served as executive producer for numerous television series, including "Hunters" (Amazon), "Lovecraft Country" (HBO), and "The Twilight Zone" (CBS). Prior to becoming a filmmaker, Peele was a celebrated comedian who was the co-star and co-creator of "Key & Peele" on Comedy Central.

Win Rosenfeld

President

Win Rosenfeld is a writer-producer and President of Monkeypaw. He oversees the company’s diverse slate of film, television productions, and podcasts. Win is a Producer on "Wendell & Wild," Henry Selick’s latest film and Monkeypaw’s first animated feature. He was an Executive Producer on "Nope," "Honk For Jesus,"
"Lovecraft Country," "The Twilight Zone" and "Hunters," and a Producer on "Candyman," for which he also co-wrote the screenplay along with Jordan Peele and the film's director, Nia DaCosta. Prior to joining the company, Win produced digital, social and broadcast content for various outlets including NBC, Slate and NPR, and edited an Emmy Award-winning segment at PBS.

Ian Cooper

Creative Director

Ian Cooper is Jordan Peele’s producing partner and the Creative Director of Monkeypaw. With a primary focus on the feature slate, Ian oversees the visual and conceptual underpinnings of all Monkeypaw projects from the early development stages through execution and release. His scope of oversight extends to all Monkeypaw ancillary projects, including books, events, and exhibitions. Ian produced Peele’s newest feature, "Nope" and is an executive producer on Henry Selick's stop-motion animated feature, "Wendell & Wild." He produced Nia DaCosta’s "Candyman" and Peele’s "Us." He oversaw the execution of the Get Out: Annotated Screenplay book; the limited edition vinyl releases of the Us, Candyman, and Nope soundtracks, and produced the Jupiter's Claim tram tour experience for Universal Studios Hollywood. Ian is a visual artist with a practice in mixed media sculpture. He holds an MFA from Bard College and has had numerous solo and group exhibitions in the U.S. and abroad over the past two decades. His work has been acquired by several institutions, including the permanent collection of The Whitney Museum of American Art.

Dana Gills

Executive Vice President, Development and Production

Dana Gills is Executive Vice President of Development and Production at Monkeypaw where she works across TV and film. Most recently, she was an Executive Producer on the company’s first feature acquisition with Focus Features, "Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul," after its 2022 Sundance Film Festival premiere. Prior to Monkeypaw, Dana was Head of Development and Production at Wondaland Pictures where she built and oversaw a slate of projects reflecting the company’s radical and rebellious ethos including Ziwe Fumudoh’s "The Nigerian Princess" (Amazon) and "De La Resistance"(A24).
Dana started as an executive in Lionsgate's Motion Picture Group where she developed and managed various feature projects. While there, she also hosted workshops, screenings and conversations with cultural game-changers through her role as Co-Chair of the Multicultural Employee Resource Group. Dana has been recognized for her work creating inroads and pipelines for underrepresented talent and voices. Her first foray into entertainment was by co-creating a web series after working in advertising and media in New York City. Dana is an alumna of Spelman College, the UCLA Producers Program, and a proud Chicago native.

Keisha Senter

Senior Vice President of Culture and Impact

Keisha Senter is the Senior Vice President of Culture and Impact for Monkeypaw. She leads the social impact strategies and campaigns that support Monkeypaw’s film and television slate, and develops partnerships with organizations and communities that mobilize around the issues addressed in the company’s storytelling. Keisha has built social change initiatives and brands at the highest levels of entertainment, government, fashion and philanthropy. She has consulted for global companies such as Gucci, Social Capital Markets and Aritzia. Previously, Keisha held leadership positions at the Will and Jada Smith Family Foundation, The Rockefeller Foundation, Clinton Global Initiative, The Center for American Progress and in the Office of Senator Charles E. Schumer. She is a 2016 Presidential Leadership Scholar and a graduate of Florida A&M University and has a M.A. International Relations from Dublin City University.

Jamal Watson

Senior Vice President of Development and Production

Jamal Watson is Senior Vice President of Development and Production at Monkeypaw. Prior to joining Monkeypaw, Jamal served as Vice President of Development and Production at Overbrook Entertainment. During his time at Overbrook, Jamal worked his way from the role of intern to the executive ranks. Jamal gained a skillset for telling diverse stories that cater to global audiences. Jamal produced ABFF Festival Winner and African Academy Award Nominee "Sprinter," Sundance 2019 selection & official 2019 TIFF selection "Hala," he served as an executive to Will Smith on Disney’s live action version of "Aladdin," and an Executive Producer on the six-part docuseries "Amend."

Rachel Foullon

Vice President of Operations

Rachel Foullon is Monkeypaw's Vice President of Operations. She oversees the day-to-day activities of the company and drives the overall growth strategy. As a visual artist, Rachel is integral to the wider creative vision of Monkeypaw, researching and developing visual and conceptual frameworks for the company’s feature films, and realizing special projects such as publications and off-screen productions. Rachel has exhibited her own artwork widely in international galleries and museums, she has curated exhibitions, and received awards as well as public and private commissions.

Alex Kim

Vice President of IP Scouting and Acquisitions

Alex Kim is Monkeypaw's Vice President of IP Scouting and Acquisitions. Since joining the company in 2017, Alex has been integral to building Monkeypaw’s expansive TV and feature slate, working on the development and production of "Hunters," "Lovecraft Country," "Lorena," "Weird City" and "The Last O.G." Most recently, Alex served as a Producer on the second season of "The Twilight Zone" and is currently developing and producing several unannounced projects. Across Monkeypaw, Alex manages content curation, project development, creative oversight, and production workflow; ensuring that all projects are aligned creatively with the Monkeypaw vision.

Geoff Foster

Head of Audio

Geoff Foster is the Head of Audio at Monkeypaw. As part of the dual role, he spearheads internal and external communications and handles many of the company’s marketing, publicity and media relations needs. He is currently the lead producer on Monkeypaw’s podcast project, "Quiet Part Loud" which is out now on Spotify. Prior to joining the company, Geoff worked for 10+ years across the New York media landscape, most prominently in writing and editing roles at the Wall Street Journal and FiveThirtyEight.com.

Chris Rosati

Vice President of Development and Production

Chris Rosati is the Vice President of Development and Production across Film & Television at Monkeypaw. Since joining the company in 2017, Chris has seen through development as well as produced the Amazon series "Hunters;" "Weird City" for Youtube Premium; "The Last OG" for TBS; and the docuseries "Lorena." In addition, Chris is currently helping shepherd Monkeypaw’s new iteration of Wes Craven’s "The People Under The Stairs," while having multiple television projects in development across animation and live action. Prior to joining Monkeypaw Chris worked in management at Principato-Young Entertainment where he was able to help guide creative voices and discovered a passion for storytelling steeped in mirth and fantastical allegory. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa and Depaul University in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois.

Kate Oh

Creative Executive

Kate Oh is Creative Executive for television and film at Monkeypaw Productions. Prior to joining the company, she worked at HBO Max in the Original Programming - Drama department. She began her career at CAA in entertainment marketing before transitioning into management and production at Anonymous Content. Kate served as a steering committee member of the Women Wednesday’s inaugural BIPOC Mentorship Program and continues to support the program as a mentor to bolster BIPOC of all genders in the decision-making rooms of our industry. She was also a member of the inaugural class of the Time’s Up Entertainment: Who’s in the Room program geared towards empowering the next generation of producers and executives. Kate is a Bay Area native and USC alumna who spends her down time at the pottery studio.

Whitney Fuller

Development Executive

Whitney Fuller is a Development Executive for Monkeypaw Productions working across television, film and podcasts. Previously, she was a Creative Executive for Will Packer Productions in Features, and spearheaded the Podcast division formed under their iHeartMedia deal. Prior to that, she cut her teeth in development at Legendary Television and WGN America. Whitney Fuller is a NY/GA native and graduate of Temple University’s Klein College of Media and Communication.

Amy McLeish

Senior Producer, Audio

Amy is the Senior Producer overseeing production and development on Monkeypaw’s scripted and unscripted audio slate. Amy is a Producer on Monkeypaw’s first fiction podcast, "Quiet Part Loud." Prior to this, she served as a Co-Producer on "Wendell & Wild” and an Associate Producer on "Hunters" Season 2. Before joining Monkeypaw, Amy worked for several years in production on a range of features and TV shows, including "The Twilight Zone." Amy is also an independent filmmaker whose work has screened at various festivals in North America.

Sophia Williams

Culture and Impact Manager

Sophia Williams is the Culture and Impact Manager at Monkeypaw. She leads and develops social content strategy across all platforms. Sophia collaborates closely with internal and external teams to implement promotional social campaigns and to deepen engagement. Prior to joining Monkeypaw, Sophia worked as a consumer researcher, co-hosted a weekly podcast, and worked in the social and research departments for various television networks.

Lance is Monkeypaw’s Facilities Manager. With decades of hands-on experience in the fields of fine art, music, IT, graphic design, film and finance, Lance brings a service oriented approach to the maintenance and safety of the company’s infrastructure.

David Torres

Production Coordinator

David Torres is a Production Coordinator having worked closely with Jordan Peele and Ian Cooper on recent feature films as a co-producer on Nope and an associate producer on Us. Prior to joining Monkeypaw, David received a B.A. in American Studies from Dickinson College and attended the screenwriting/directing program at Columbia University.

Ayan Nur-Bramwell

Development Coordinator

Ayan Nur-Bramwell is a Development Coordinator, working across both film and television. She holds a BFA in Film and TV and a minor in Business Entertainment Media Technology (BEMT) from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Prior to joining Monkeypaw, Ayan worked extensively in talent management, TV development and film production in New York and Los Angeles.

Savannah Abrishamchian

Development Coordinator

Savannah is a Development Coordinator for Monkeypaw working across film, television, and special projects. She served as the Producer's Assistant to Chris Rosati on Season 2 of "Hunters" and is currently supporting multiple adaptations, as well as animated and live-action projects. She earned a BA in English from University of San Diego where she was dedicated to flash fiction, poetry, photography, and literary magazine production. Post-college, Savannah blossomed as Spotify's Jr. Writer for the ¡Viva Latino! Video Playlist writing short-docu style content for artists such as Ricky Martin and Demi Lovato. Soon after, she landed in CAA's TV Scripted department and later served as the right hand to Jenni Konner where she grew in development. Savannah is also an independent writer, filmmaker, and visual artist committed to stories on loss and worlds that blend reality with the beyond.

Annissa Omran

Associate Producer, Audio

Annissa is the Associate Producer on Monkeypaw’s scripted and unscripted audio slate. She received an MFA from UCLA’s TFT Producers Program with a thesis focused on horror as catharsis. Prior to joining Monkeypaw, Annissa worked for several years as a freelance screenwriter and project manager for an informational video company. She has served as producer and production manager on features and short films shot in Miami and Los Angeles.

Kenneth Washington

IT Services Manager

Kenneth is Monkeypaw’s IT Services Manager in coordination with Synergy Associates. As a technician, certified by Apple Inc., and a classically trained musician, composer, and actor by way of Duke Ellington School of the Arts & George Mason University, Kenneth is uniquely positioned to bridge the world of IT with the creative arts. He works closely within the Operations team to oversee all IT needs for the company, with the primary objective of enabling an optimum environment to create. Kenneth has starred in countless musicals, plays, operas, and short films with thousands of streams as a recording artist and music producer under the pseudonym, Greyson King.

Maria Termanini

Assistant to Win Rosenfeld

Maria is the Executive Assistant to Win Rosenfeld. Prior to joining Monkeypaw, she worked in production on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, having transitioned to film and television from the tech startup world where she was a Growth and Marketing Manager. Maria received her B.A. from the University of California Berkeley.

Daniel Larson

Assistant to Ian Cooper

Daniel Larson is Executive Assistant to Ian Cooper, Monkeypaw's Creative Director. Working closely with Ian, Daniel helps support the creative vision of Monkeypaw’s various productions as well as all ancillary projects and endeavors. Daniel was instrumental in overseeing the realization of the Jupiter's Claim set on the Universal Studios Tram Tour, and runs point on the Get Out live-to-picture concert series. Daniel served as Associate Producer on “Nope” and “Candyman." Prior to joining the company, Daniel worked in film and television production in Chicago on projects helmed by Ava DuVernay, Lana Wachowski, Joe Swanberg, and Diallo Riddle.

Ethan Soo

Assistant to Jordan Peele

Ethan Soo is the Executive Assistant to Jordan Peele. Prior to his current position, he worked under Alex Kim in IP Scouting and Acquisitions. Ethan graduated from the University of Southern California, during which he worked for producer Janet Yang, and has had his own films screen at major genre festivals.

Donovan Jones

Assistant to Dana Gills

Donovan Jones is the Executive Assistant to Dana Gills, Monkeypaw’s SVP of Development & Production. In 2018, he graduated from George Mason University with a BA in film and media studies. Since then, he's built his resume as a PA, Coordinator, Assistant to Producer, and a Production Runner for Live Nation Entertainment (Concerts). He got his start as a PA on the set of Wonder Woman 1984 (2020) and has since then worked a wide range of projects for brands like Adidas, Apple, and Marriott; TV shows such as "The Good Lord Bird" (2020), "Flatbush Misdemeanors" (2022) and "Atlanta" (2022) and feature films including "Harriet" (2019). On his free time, Donovan focuses on building his reel with short form music videos, nonprofit work, documentaries, vlogs, and even his own cooking show.

Troi Henderson

Assistant to Jamal Watson

Troi Henderson is Executive Assistant to Jamal Watson, Monkeypaw's VP of Development and Production. Originally from Detroit, MI, she holds a B.F.A. in Television and Film and a Minor in Playwriting from Howard University. Prior to joining Monkeypaw, Troi worked under the SVP of Film and the VP of Film at 21 Laps Entertainment. She started her career in entertainment doing multiple internships in college and was a cohort in EICOP's HBCU in LA program before landing in the mailroom at WME agency post-grad. Troi is also an independent musician and writer. She aims to use the intersections of her passions for music, art, writing and visual storytelling to bring forward innovative and progressive content that helps shape the future of popular culture.

Hewot Getachew

Assistant to Alex Kim

Hewot Getachew is the Executive Assistant to Alex Kim, Monkeypaw’s VP of IP Scouting and Acquisitions. Prior to joining Monkeypaw, she worked as an analyst on Netflix’s Production HR team, serving as the liaison between the department and 109 of their major physical productions, principally Stranger Things and Bridgerton, regarding all employee health data analytics. Hewot received her BA from Tufts University.

Zainab Sillah

Assistant to Keisha Senter

Zainab Sillah, more affectionately known as Zai, is the Executive Assistant to Keisha Senter, Monkeypaw's SVP of Culture and Impact. She is also Monkeypaw’s inaugural Research and Writing Fellow. Prior to her fellowship, she was a Culture and Impact Intern through the Academy Gold Rising Program. Zai graduated with a BFA in Creative Writing and Cultural Studies at Evergreen State College, where she creatively and academically explored the migration of Senegambian oral storytelling through its mythical creatures and monsters across the African diaspora. She transitioned from prose to film and received an MFA in Screenwriting from Loyola Marymount University. Zai is also an independent writer, infusing the nuanced duality of her African and American upbringings into an overarching question of what the 21st century monster truly looks like.

Dongwon Oh

Assistant to Rachel Foullon

Dongwon Oh is the Executive Assistant to Rachel Foullon, Monkeypaw’s VP of Operations. Dongwon was born in Korea, raised in India and came to the U.S for college at SUNY Geneseo. Inspired by his time as a tank gunner in the Republic of Korea Army just three miles from the DMZ, he wrote short stories that went onto be published in literary magazines. Transitioning from prose to film, Dongwon received an MFA in screenwriting from Loyola Marymount University. Prior to joining the company, he was a cultural consultant on the hit podcast Love & Noraebang and his short films about experiences of the Asian American diaspora have screened at major film festivals.
