For the most part, the Teachers at JFK are amazing. A lot of them do a good job of ensuring that the students will learn without stressing them out too much. Those teachers put lots of effort and do more than just regurgitate a bunch of stuff from a slideshow and give lots of homework. Moreover, the teachers do a good in forming relationships with students. Almost every teacher I have had are person who can be talked to when it comes to personal stuff. An issue is that the school isn't properly maintained or cleaned all the time. The tech team sometimes will also take too long to respond when you file a report with tech issues. Moreover, the way the bathroom works is very inefficient causing way too long lines to form in front of them. Another thing is also the food which is most of the time not very nutritious or even tasty. There were even times in the past where people have gotten sick from the food. I hope that JFK with change all of which I have complained about.
I very much enjoyed attending JFKMHS. Compared to other high schools in the district, JFKMHS definitely prepares student the most for life after high school
Pros: Academics were great, helpful teachers, welcoming and diverse environment
Cons: Minimal funding towards arts programs, issues with administration
