John Corbett stole a $20K moose head from the set of ‘Northern Exposure’

John Corbett cleaned up on the set of ’90s CBS hit “Northern Exposure” — stealing a number of props, including a $20,000 moose head.

“It’s in my living room hanging on the wall,” Corbett said during a Vulture Fest panel, explaining that he swiped it while everyone was at lunch by hoisting it over a fence into a graveyard next door. Producers told everyone on set that the taxidermied prop was rented, and that “if it doesn’t show up, we have to pay $20,000.”

“I think I’ve escaped the statute of limitations,” Corbett said of coming clean now.

The actor, best known for playing the character Aidan on “Sex and the City,” showed up to the virtual event in clothes that he took from the show and also revealed he kept a treasure trove of paraphernalia, including a puppet, a motorcycle part, a piano part, a sword and a wax head from the program about a small town in Alaska.
