My Story
Joel Waterman was the first Canadian Premier League defender to sign in the MLS following his January 2020 transfer to Canadian team CF Montreal .
Since a young age Joel has dedicated his life to becoming a professional footballer, playing with TWU Spartans prior to his draft to CPL side Cavalry in their inaugral season.
In his role as Ambassador for Mannatech and KidSport BC, he is committed to promoting and nurturing opportunites for young people and adults from all backgrounds to achieve their full potential.
In 2021 he was selected by the Canadian National Soccer team for their World Cup qualifying campaign , the culmination of his lifelong ambition to represent his country, and the start of an exciting new chapter.
