Joe Junior聲線嘹亮，音域廣闊，形象莊諧並重。1967年他組成Side Effects樂隊，同年推出『Here's A Heart』，連續七周高踞流行榜榜首，銷量達2萬張，刷新了當時的唱片銷量紀錄，被譽為『香港六十年代樂壇寵兒』。其後他轉以個人名義出版單曲及專輯，產量甚豐。近年，Joe Junior成功轉型，唱而優則演，除參與電視劇及電影之演出，更擔任商品廣告代言，親切「入屋」，深得觀眾喜愛。從出道以來Joe Junior經常為社區、學校及社團演唱作慈善公益，回饋社會。

2014至2019年 ，由『環星娛樂』主辦Joe Junior 與 Christine Samson 及 Anders Nelsson 四度舉行之『那些年Those Were The Days』演唱會、 2019年Joe Junior『Timeless Memories』個人巡迴演唱會及『Pop Legend︰Joe Junior in Concert 2021 & 2022』場場爆滿，好評如潮。

今年2024年Joe Junior 再度舉行『Pop Legend︰Joe Junior in Concert 2024』，邀得《中年好聲音》七強之一-支嚳儀 (Venus), 及盧宛茵為演出嘉賓，一起為樂迷大唱英文經典金曲，齊齊為樂壇傳奇Joe Junior加油打氣。
