Joanne Linville Obituary

Joanne possessed an exceedingly rare combination of beauty and talent, as manifested in her role of Lavinia in the Twilight Zone classic, "The Passersby". That marvelous performance is nothing less than a clinic on great acting, ranking this episode among top favorites. Hopefully, I will get the chance to meet up with Joanne at the end of the road.

Joanne was a wonderful actress. She was also very beautiful in the Enterprise Incident. I won't ever forget her!

...Was just watching Ms. Linville in an episode of The Streets of San Francisco last week. I've seen her on: Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Cannon, Barnaby Jones, ChIPS, Kojak, Columbo, Shane, L.A. Law, Dynasty, Mrs. Columbo, Charlie's Angels, Hawaii Five-O, Star Trek, The Twilight Zone, The Eleventh Hour, The Fugitive, Route 66, Ben Casey, Dr. Kildare, Laramie, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, The Guiding Light, Playhouse 90, Kraft Theater, I Spy, Starship Excelsior, and the list goes on. A unique, talented, & prolific actress; her acting credits ran the course of seven decades & 66 years from 1950-2016.

Joanne was one of many beautiful, talented woman on Star Trek. As a Romulan commander she brought grace and power to the part. That episode was always one of my favorites. You have lived long, now prosper in the arms of the LORD.

I fall in love with her every time I see her in Star Trek. With Spock, such a romantic beautiful classy pair, but it was she who made it great. RIP Joanne
