Former Hollyoaks star Joanna Taylor has revealed she has found love again eight months after splitting with TV pundit husband Danny Murphy.

The actress told Mail Online: ‘I’m very happy and Danny is very happy for me.’

Taylor split with Match of the Day pundit and ex Liverpool star Murphy in January after 14 years of marriage.

But now the ex-magazine pin up has found love again with handsome businessman Pete Sheath.

Photos posted on the 40-year old’s social media show her smiling with part time model Pete.

Speaking exclusively to Mail Online, Joanna confirmed she was dating the handsome businessman.

‘Yes we are happy and I know Danny is very happy for me, she said. ‘We have a very good friendship for the sake of our children.

‘Both of us have moved on with our lives, but we remain very good friends. I know Danny is very happy and I’m happy for him. All is good between us.'

Joanna confirmed that her new boyfriend is an avid Liverpool fan – one of her ex’s clubs.

‘Yes, he does support Liverpool,’ she said.

The new man in her life works as a manager for executive property firm The Office Group in London.

But he has also modelled and appeared on the cover of several fitness magazine’s showing off his gym honed torso.

Friends of Joanna, who is an avid horsewoman, said they are thrilled she has found love again after the end of her marriage.

Murphy, 42, moved out of the £1.7m family home in Surrey and rented a property nearby so he could be close to his two young children.

The couple denied anyone else was involved, but Joanna was reported to have received information about the state of her marriage that led to the split.

A friend of Joanna told Mail Online they are delighted to see her smiling again after the end of her marriage and a horse riding accident that left her with a serious leg injury.

‘Joanna has had a difficult year following her split from Danny but she is really happy at the moment, ‘ said a friend.

‘She fell for Pete straight away. He’s handsome, kind and they are having lots of fun together.'

After a playing career spanning 20 years and six clubs, as well as nine England caps, Murphy is now a regular pundit on Match of the Day alongside Alan Shearer and ex-Arsenal star Ian Wright.

He and Joanna met while he was at Liverpool and she was appearing in the TV series Merseybeat having left her role as Geri Hudson in the soap Hollyoaks.

The couple wed in 2005 and had two children, a boy and a girl.

Joanna quit acting to concentrate on her family and now drives her daughter Mya around the country to compete in show jumping competitions.

She passed a test to gain an HGV licence and drives a 12 tonne horse box with living accommodation for her and Mya around the UK..
