Supernatural actor Jim Beaver said a heartfelt farewell to the series on social media Thursday.

The actor, who portrayed veteran demon hunter Bobby Singer for several seasons, shared a scruffy selfie of himself ahead of his final day of filming. "So it's here. Last day of principal photography on Supernatural, my home for 15 years," he wrote. "Getting ready to go to work on it for the final time. Deep feelings. Very deep. I love these people. Okay. Let's go kick it in the ass one last time."

Known to fans as an old friend of Sam and Dean Winchester's late father John, Bobby evolved into a father figure and mentor to the brothers over the course of the show. While Bobby was killed in the Season 7 episode "Death's Door," he has made several reappearances in spirit form and flashbacks during the later seasons, and is expected to make a cameo in the upcoming series finale.

Beaver's post comes nearly two weeks after series leads Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles shared their own posts about the series coming to an end. Ackles, who portrays Dean Winchester on the series, also recently revealed that he will be given the keys to his character's 1967 Chevrolet Impala when the show wraps.

Starring Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins, and Alexander Calvert, the final seven episodes of Supernatural begin airing on Oct. 8 on The CW. The finale will air on Nov. 19. The previous 14 seasons are also streaming now on Netflix.
