We were two people on a Friday night. We made a reservation. We were told we could only sit at 2 people tables. They held true to that policy as 3 other 2s that came after us. Throughout our stay the four people tables not far occupied stayed empty. They clearly were never going to be occupied or at least not all of them. Given that the 4 people tables can be turned into 2 people tables and the other way around the policy is silly at least on the night we went. They actually yelled at two people for even getting near a 4 person table. There was always capacity to create 4 people tables from 2 people tables should the need have arisen. I didn’t mind our table but the policy is off putting and I will not return until they change their policy. The prices are high for York Avenue so they should take care not to turn away business due to rigid policy that makes diners uncomfortable. There wasn’t a 2 person table that didn’t observe the 4 person tables staying unused and shaking their heads.

We have been here many times for brunch and lunch but this was our first dinner. The food was delicious and the ambience was just what we were looking for, casual and comfortable.

The food and service are always incredible here. We have been enjoying lunch and pastries here for years but dinner is equally good. A very calm and pleasant environment as well.

This low key, cozy little French restaurant in Yorkville consistently scores high on food and service. As always, this time the service was warm, friendly, and efficient. Enjoyed our appetizers: burrata with tomatoes and pate. My branzino with a side a ratatouille was a hit. A thumbs up also for mussels with fries. If you like peaches, the peach tart for dessert was delicious (you need to ask for it because it is not on the menu).

A big deterrent of this restaurant is how they constantly rush you out..big turn off. Good food and desserts..the fireplace was a a nice touch.

Quiet small bistro feel. It is in our neighborhood rotation. The food is lovely, my new favorite is the Moules Dijonnaise. Of course the escargot and steak frites are also excellent.

Restaurant is set back behind a French Pastry shop-So Lovely and The food was so good! Heartwarming w a Hearth! The Onion soup Mussels and Chicken were So yummy! The Beef Bourguignon done w short ribs looked amazing and the diners were all loving it! This is an under the radar secret and very reasonable!! We will Return!!

Le Moulin is a lovely little restaurant at the back of a café. The food was excellent, and there's a roaring fireplace which I wish we'd been able to sit closer to. I would say the ambiance is quite informal, and maybe not as plush as some places. The lighting was a little bright. But if you want authentic French cuisine, well-prepared and delicious, give it a try! I will definitely be going back.

This is a restaurant right in my neighborhood and have discovered it recently. It is charming, wonderful, friendly service, excellent food. Have been there twice in the last couple of weeks and intend to keep on going. They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, have outdoor dining if wanted. I highly reccomend it!

The leak and potato soup with chicken (a soup of the day) was okay. I felt that the chicken did not enhance the soup. I ordered the Breast of Duck, to be served medium. I felt that it had little duck flavor.

Our warm and friendly waiter, Costa, was very helpful in recommending an organic wine to pair with our meal. My husband had really juicy hamburger with crispy, perfectly cooked fries. I had the seared tuna niçoise salad which was very fresh and lightly dressed. The atmosphere was casual and quiet with French style music playing in the background. It was a relaxing and delicious evening.

Le Moulin is a cozy neighborhood gem with an outstanding menu and a chef who delivers great French fare. The onion soup, the mushroom soup, skirt steak not to mention the in- house made fruit tart to wind up the meal.

The waiters demonstrated excellent service. Very honest, very transparent. Kitchen as behind the scene people showed very quick delivery of food. My adult kids loved the desserts, and the appetizers so much!!
