Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s $64M mansion standoff — he’s in, she’s out: sources

Tensions are rising in the Bennifer household.

Ben Affleck is trying to put his foot down on the latest Pacific Palisades, California home he’s currently in a contract to buy with Jennifer Lopez.

The newlyweds have already backed out on several deals (at least four), losing out on hundreds of thousands in inspections fees in the past year, The Post has learned.

For a Hollywood power couple, that amount might just be pocket change for them.

But this time, Affleck, 50, is hoping to secure the $64 million property, sources close to the deal told The Post.

“Ben is fighting for it. He really wants this house,” the insider revealed, adding that the actor loves the location of the 16,000-square-foot property, along with another mansion down the block.

So far the couple is still in escrow for the eight-bedroom, 14-bathroom property that has long been owned by one of the most prominent families in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, Lopez, 53, is ready to walk away for a fourth time.

Last month, they pulled out of buying a $34.5 million home in the same affluent neighborhood.

And last March, the two backed out of a $50 million Bel-Air home they were in contract to purchase.

It is unclear why there are continuous changes of mind, but from the looks of it, Affleck is not happy with the situation.

If, however, they decide to stick with this estate in the end, they’ll be getting one of the chicest properties around.

The main house holds six bedrooms and 10 baths — and occupies 13,000 square feet.

It comes with a 3,000-square-foot two-bedroom, four-bathroom guest house.

Additionally, there’s an 800-square-foot gym for Lopez to get her sweat on.

The grounds feature a long driveway that opens to a large motor court.

Outdoor amenities include a resort-style pool and spa, and a fire feature.

Other features include a media room, an expansive game room that opens out to the backyard, two playrooms, a roomy kitchen, and a family room.

This isn’t the first time the couple has shown tension in their relationship.

Who can forget the 2023 Grammy awards, when the now-viral clip that has exploded into memes, showed the two in a tiff?

Affleck, 50, recalls the incident as a typical “husband-and-wife thing,” despite spawning a barrage of memes.

“I saw [Grammy host Trevor Noah approach] and I was like, ‘Oh, God,’ they were framing us in this shot, but I didn’t know they were rolling,” Affleck, the two-time Oscar winner, recalled.

“I leaned into her and I was like, ‘As soon they start rolling, I’m going to slide away from you and leave you sitting next to Trevor.’”

“You better f – – king not leave,” warned Lopez in response, according to her hubby.

Meanwhile, Lopez has already found a buyer for her French-style, nine-bedroom Bel-Air property of six years that she listed for $42.5 million last month.

She also listed her $25 million New York City penthouse.

But after four years without a buyer, the singer and actress took the home off the market.
