WHITE PINE, Tenn. (WATE) — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a reported stabbing along Old Airport Road Sunday.

According to a social media post shared by JCSO, on April 28, JCSO deputies were dispatched to an address on Old Airport Road in White Pine on a disturbance call. The victim told deputies that he had been walking on Old Airport Road when a gray, older model Honda (which was possibly spray painted) with black rims nearly struck him.

The victim also said the car stopped and a passenger got out and engaged in a verbal altercation with the victim, resulting in the passenger stabbing the victim on his back causing non-life threatening injuries.

The passenger is described as being a white male, between 25-30 years of age with blonde hair and a tattoo underneath his right eye and right bicep.
