That goal by Jeff Hendrick in the 93rd minute against Leicester; probably the most important goal of the season. Just seemed to give us some belief. Without that I reckon we would have gone.

The trend of scoring more late goals than we conceded is a breath of fresh air isn't it? We've seen a lot of games out and added a fair few late goals to seal games or turn them in our favour

QPR home and away

Stoke away

Leicester home

Norwich home

Blackburn home

And lots of comfortable maintenance of leads like Hull, WBA,Plymouth, Millwall, Blackburn

A very unlike Wednesday supporting season after Danny came in.

This is a great tool and shows how far we have come since DR started working his magic, I hope he keeps working it for a long time yet.

On a personal note - the day I had my 18th Party we were top of the PL, showing my age I know but pleasing still. We will return to dine at the top table of English football 🙂

Exactly....and Bristol City at home when we saw the win out comfortably after Bernard was sent off with 15 mins to go.

It’s the form From after the Leicester match that’s unbelievable.

He needed that international break before and then we shouldn’t have lost at Birmingham and the following match v Leicester gave them the belief.

Since then:-

P27 W13 D4 L10 Pts 43

Over a season that’s 73 points.

I don’t think anybody can really say that 27 matches isn’t representative of the standard Röhl has set. That’s hardly those stupid 6 match form tables, it’s over half a season.

Yes, and how important will those 2 late goals and point against Norwich prove to be.

Lol Birmingham

That's when they sacked Eustace. 6th with 18 points from 11 games.

Now 34 games and 29 points later, look like being relegated. A brilliant move by the club.

It just shows though how tough it is to make up a big gap. It took us 33 games to make up 16 points and finally overtake them.

If we hadn’t collapsed at home to Cardiff we’d be comfortably safe now.

Following this train of thought, if we had Röhl from the start, we would have been comfortably safe by now

This is the furthest we were from safety at any time in the season.

Wednesday November 29th after our equaliser from Hendrick in the 93rd minute got us a point v Leicester. For me, this was the turning point of our season because we went on to win 3 out of the next 4.
