Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Don't get me wrong, it's an amazing album with great sound and playing. You'll just have to judge for yourself whether or not it's a deal breaker for you.

If you want to know the tunes, check the set list...it's a great one. the liner notes of this gatefold package are heartfelt but are merely the producer's (of this remastered set) comments on the CD and add nothing more than the obvious.
Even thought this has been remastered, let's not talk fidelity here. The reality is that this is about as 'real' as we've ever hear Mr. Beck. Indeed, one gets the impression from some of his interviews that this raw, rough and ready approach is what appeals to him; it's certainly a very sharp contrast to the smoothness of 'Emotion & Commotion'. Oh, and it includes a take on 'Seasons', which - on the 'Jeff' CD - has one of his best-ever solos.
So if you like guitar. Or you want to hear what Jeff Beck is about. This is a great CD. On the other hand, if you want to get a sense of how far everyone else, from Bonamassa, Clapton, Perry, Page and the rest have to go to even begin to catch up (hey, by their own admission), this is the disc to have.
