referencing Jazz Gunn (LP, Stereo) SD 1487
The spatial separation is nice, none of the instruments are buried in the mix. I love that the bass and drums are pronounced and up front. The only thing holding back this vintage pressing is the surface noise and or the sort of tape hiss sound that is present of many of the tracks. I wonder if other hear that on their pressing? I’ll still listen and deeply enjoy this copy until I can find a better version.
