Anyway, there might be a way to sweeten the bitter pill of ending the anti-Cuban sanctions for Cuban-Americans. All or much of the selling to Cuba must be done through Cuban-American businesses. And Cuban goods must be brought to the US via Cuban-American owned companies. That might be a win-win for both those who want the sanctions to end and the Cuban-American community that figures to cash in on doing business with the devil.

Someone please explain to me why the U.S. Embargo is such a big deal. Almost all countries south of the U.S, Border trade with Cuba, as does most of Europe and Asia. What can they not get due to the embargo? What can they not get from other countries? Most of our major trading partners either ignore the embargo or bypass it through shell companies in shell countries.

As a thought experiment, let’s pick a country that America does not deal with economically- say, North Korea. What do they produce or extract that any American can’t get elsewhere? I have been to Cuba. It’s a shithole. As are most Central American countries. Most third world countries are too, and a lot of the second world as well.

Cuba needs an excuse for their economic non-performance, and the embargo gives them one. Much like the anti-semites here need an excuse to explain their lower earnings and less success than many (not all) Jews.

I remember reading about Cuba years ago, how it was before the Castros (similar to how many places in the world were pleasant, 1st world destinations before TPTB turned its evil gaze upon them) took hold of it. What has happened since has been one of the great unspoken crimes against humanity over the last 60 years. What makes it more egregious is that the US gov’t could have easily deposed Castro if they wanted to, but I don’t think the CIA or the DOD really wanted him gone.

I don’t understand why you think Biden has anything to do with Cuban policy specifically or foreign policy in general. At best he can choose different rhetoric or put in a good or bad word the actual policy makers might agree to to consider. How Communism arrived in Cuba. Communism arrived in Cuba though deceit and intrigue in 1959. Check the video below at 10:23 minutes, a clip is played where Castro announced that he was not a Communist, he was promising “Democratic Reform”. he never told the Cuban people that he intended to impose a Marxist Communist dictatorship in Cuba.
Huber Matos Benítez, who was a Commandant in Castro’s “Revolution”, an anti-Communist (also anti-Batista) seeing that the ranks were being filled by Communists tried to resign his post, sent a number of letters of resignation to Fidel Castro which Castro rejected until he accepted one and slime-ball Castro publicly denounced Huber Matos as a “traitor” for accusing Castro of being a Communist and put Matos in trail and 20 years in prison!!! So Castro called Matos a traitor for calling Castro a Communist!!! LOL. Well guess what, a year and half later, Castro infact came out of the closet and announced that he was infant a Lenninst Communist, Huber Matos was not released but served his entire sentence!!! So Castro was promising to restore the Old pre-Batista democratic order and he was so convincing that his movement lobbied Washington DC to impose an arms embargo on the Cuban Government of Batista. Yes, Castro successfully lobbied Washington for an arms embargo on Cuba.This American embargo on Castro’s request against Batista in 1958 led to Batista fleeing Cuba. He had lost support of the USA, backstabbed. like the Chinese KMT and South Vietnam.
In 1959, Castrato farted promises to the Cuban people democracy, freedom of expression, rule of law. At the same time he was making those speeches to fool the Cuban people, he was threatening newspapers against printing anything negative about him or they would suffer dire consequences. So Castrato and his Satanic Commie army mass executed newspaper people and broadcasted them. At 12:52 minutes in the video below we can see a clip of one of those executions. Check out the number of Afro Cubans executed by the Commie sadist killers. This was broadcast to terrorize the Cuban population to implement his control. So while he was erecting his totalitarian Marxist dictatorship regime, he kept denying he was a Communist. This same pattern was repeated, fooling the masses, in Venezuela, Nicaragua and else where.

Communism in Cuba (John Suarez – Acton Institute)

On 2nd December 1961, where he said “If we had paused to tell the people that we were Marxist Leninist, while we were on Pico Turquino and not yet strong it is possible we would have never been able to descend to the plains (from the mountains)“. Communism and the Communist party were deeply unpopular in Cuba because of their links to the previous two dictatorships. There were Communists that wound up in Castro’s regime who have been in Fulgencio Batista’s regime (who BTW was center left not right winged) and the Commies had also supported the previous military dictator from the 1920s Cuba, that of Gerardo Machado. They were deeply unpopular in Cuba and thus Castro had to hide his true Communist Marxist beliefs of the Cuban people would have fought back more. As Castro started consolidating his regime, soon dissidents emerged such as Huber Matos but some of those who fought with Castro against the Batista regime, returned to the hills and fought the Escambray rebellion for six years aginst the Castro regime. The CIA supported it for a short period of time and back-stabbed them as usual as they often do to anti-Communists. It was led by ex-guerrilla that had fought against Batista before, but rejected the sudden Marxist turn the Cuban Revolution had taken. Small landowning farmers, who disagreed with the socialist government’s collectivization of Cuban farmlands also played a central role in the failed rebellion. Castro shat in his pink panties and immediately asked help from the USSR. 400 Soviet counter insurgency experts had to assist Castro against these rebels to train the Cuban troops to combat them. Without Soviet help, the rebels would have screwed the Castro regime easy. Even with Soviet help and CIA back-stab of the rebels, it still took Castro SIX YEARS to crush those rebels in the mountains. It involved relocating entire populations from that region and setting them up in internment camps. How many people know about this? The Cubans would later use these skills in other places like in Africa and Latin America. After the Escambray rebellion was crushed by the Castrato regimo, 10 years later a new movement emerges. The Cuban Committee for Human rights. This included many Diplomats and even many left winged professors disillusioned with the Castro regime. One of the founders was Cuban University Professor Ricardo Bofill and they started to document the human rights abuses taking place in Cuba under the brutal Castro regime. They would send to reports to embassies and the UN Human Rights commission. Many movements were started by the Cuban population against the Castro regime but during the Obama years, they got screwed by Obama

Castro had an interest in Venezuela from the very beginning. Venezuelans know about this at that time, as Che was advising the Government of Rómulo Betancourt to use firing squads against his opponents. Che then instigated riots in Caracas and now a Betancourt, finally in his senses, Venezuela broke all diplomatic relations with Cuba and Betancourt asked the army to squash the rioting as Betancourt realised that it was an attempt to install a regime similar to that in Cuba. Cuban Communist leader Blas Roca Calderio told in Havana in Jan 1963, “When the Communists get full control and make themselves OWNERS of the great riches in Oil, Aluminum and everything their earth imprisons (Venezuela), then all of America shall burn”. Three tons of weapons were found on a Venezuelan beach to help bring regime change by disrupting democratic elections, the same way done in Cuba earlier by Castrato and his thug gang.
In Africa we often hear about Cuba in Angola but one chapter not spoken about much is Cuba in Ethiopia. In the 1980’s there was a huge famine in Ethiopia where hundreds of thousand Ethiopians died of hunger. well, that was a manufactured famine to consolidate Communist control in Ethiopia. There 17000 troops on the ground there assisting. Both Fidel and Raoul Castro traveled to Ethiopia during that time and met with the Communist thug Warlord Mengistu Haile Mariam to review the troops and to congratulate on his “great efforts“. And Castro had wonderful things to say (glorious People’s famine maybe?) about Mengistu tothe Communist East German dictator Erich Ernst Paul Honecker. There is footage in the video by John Suarez about this visit by Castrato gang to Ethiopian regime at 31:08 minutes. You can see Castro meeting Cuban military officials in Ethiopia in the video. The Cuban Communist thug troops in Ethiopia were going directly against the Ethiopian population’s means of survival. Given the demographic make up of Cuba at best Cuba could only be an island version of Brazil. Even if the Cuban people were to overthrow the government our government would no doubt interfere. One of the grounds of justifying their interference would be to make sure the black population in Cuba is treated equally and has equal representation to the size of their population(I think it’s like 40% or more) in Cuba in any new government that is formed.
