LOWELL – Estelle M. (Lemelin) (Lussier) Malinowski, age 92, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, August 20, 2020 at D'Youville Senior Care in Lowell after a four year struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was the wife of the late Albert G. Malinowski who passed away in 2016 and Victor H. Lussier, who passed away in 1977.   She was also preceded in death by her daughter Sandra (Lussier) (Blais) (McHaney) Martikainen in 2019.

She was born and raised in Lowell on Sept. 20, 1927, daughter of the late Wilfred and Eva (Lamothe) Lemelin, and the sister of the late Joseph Wilfred Lemelin.

A longtime resident of Lowell and previously resided in Riverside, CA from 1964 until 1973.  She enjoyed dancing and camping and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. While living in Riverside, CA she was an active member of the Elks Lodge 2145 Emblem Club, and held the office of Assistant Marshall.  Before retiring, Estelle worked at Lowell GeneralHospital as a floor secretary for 18 years.

Estelle is survived by her two daughters, Janine Pendleton and husband, Patrick of Mission, TX, and Denise Martel and husband, Richard of Pelham, NH. She has 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. 

Arrangements - Due to COVID 19, services will be private and for the immediate family only.  A Celebration of Life will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of America.
