Jane Michelle Musky was born in New Jersey, USA, on 27 May 1954, the daughter of musician John Peter and real estate broker Olga Peter, maiden name Badaukus. As the daughter of a musician, she was already inclined towards art. Jane was a student at Columbia High School situated in Maplewood, New Jersey. Her ambition and dream to make a name for herself in Hollywood took her to New York, where she worked as an art designer in the New York Theater. She is married to Tony Goldwyn and the mother of two daughters – Anna Musky-Goldwyn and Tess Frances Goldwyn.

Career

Jane began her career with small steps, working in the New York Theatre and later at the Williamstown theater festival. She also worked as a production designer at Harker`s Studio in London, and later had the opportunity to demonstrate her skills as an assistant designer and scenic artist by doing some work in co-operation with the English National Opera, Glyndebourne Opera, and Pinewood Studios. She became known when her name appeared in one of the most popular movies in the 90s “When Harry met Sally”, followed by her work in the movie “Ghost” for which her distinguished style, talent, and work received positive critiques from all over the world.

In 2005 she appeared in one of the greatest blockbusters “Hitch”, and her passion and hard work brought her nominations for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Art Direction and Best Set Decoration Award. As well as being noticed alongside her husband`s popularity and Hollywood reputation, as the sister-in-law of actress Colleen Camp and studio executive John Goldwyn, and the aunt of Emily Goldwyn and the daughter-in-law of Samuel Goldwyn Jr. and Jennifer Howard, Jane Musky has been recognized and appreciated as one of the most outstanding art directors of her time.

In her career, she has worked on more than 30 movies, including “My Super Ex-Girlfriend”, “The Beauty Hunter”, “Manhattan”, “Raising Arizona”, and “Glengarry Glen Ross”, which have shown splendid results and earned nothing but praise and admiration. The couple dated for more than four years before they walked down the aisle on 18 April 1987 in a private ceremony. Despite the age gap between the couple, Jane being six years older than Tony, they have apparently kept harmony in their marriage. The couple welcomed their first daughter Anna in 1990, and second Tess in 1995.

Unlike many Hollywood couples whose fame and media attention might stir up their marriage, particularly rumors of infidelity, and then divorce, Jane Musky and Tony Goldwyn have never been involved in an affair despite working in the same industry.

Hollywood actor and director Tony Goldwyn has developed a reputation in the industry with his talent and many film roles. He was born 20 May 1960, in Los Angeles, California, into a family of writers, movie directors and actors, the son of actress Jennifer Howard and film producer Samuel Goldwyn.

He obtained his college degree from Hamilton, which is considered one of the best colleges in New York, a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Brandeis University, Waltham, and attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

The beginning of his career was marked with the small professional role in “Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Live”, in which he was noticed, and further cast as a guest star for several television shows, including “Designing Women”, “Hunter”, “Murphy Brown” and “St. Elsewhere”. The breakthrough in his career was as villain Carl Bruner in “Ghost”, who betrays the main character played by Patrick Swayze for money.

In a recent guest appearance on “Today”, he stated that his wife encouraged him to audition for the part, as she was one of the art designers and producers of the movie, and as he said: “Through a miracle, we ended up working on it together and that is incredible”.

His acting in “Ghost” was recognized by the audience, and received positive critiques. This movie has marked his acting career and brought him roles in other movies such as “Nixon”, “Reckless” and “American Gun”, as well as television series such as “Matlock”, “La Law” and “Hunter” plus many more.

He has worked as a director on projects such as “Grey`s Anatomy”, “Dexter”, “The L Word” and “A Walk on the Moon”, and recently appeared in the show “Scandal”. His wife has encouraged and supported his work throughout his career.

He has also been noted as a political activist.
