Cognizant Names Jane Livesey as CEO for Australia and New Zealand

SYDNEY, August 19, 2020 ― Cognizant (Nasdaq: CTSH) today announced that Jane Livesey has been appointed as the CEO for Cognizant Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) effective August 31, 2020.

Ms. Livesey, 46, joins Cognizant from PwC, where she led the Technology Consulting practice in Australia, consisting of more than 800 technology, digital and cyber professionals. She also served on the CEO Strategy, Consulting and Global Technology leadership teams.

Prior to PwC, Ms. Livesey was the ANZ Technology Group Managing Director at Accenture for 12 years. In this role, she developed and led large technology practices in Australia and Asia-Pacific and oversaw 2,700 employees and more than $1 billion of annual revenue.

“We are delighted to welcome Jane to Cognizant,” said Brian Humphries, CEO, Cognizant.  “We are confident that her extensive technology consulting experience, client centricity, leadership qualities and personal brand will help us grow our business exponentially in Australia-New Zealand.”

“With her passion for engaging with clients and accelerating their innovation, creating leading-edge advisory and delivery capabilities, building exceptional leadership teams, and providing a strong employee experience, Jane will provide further momentum to our fast-growing ANZ business,” said Manoj Mehta, Head of Global Growth Markets at Cognizant.

“I am delighted to be a part of Cognizant and look forward to enabling businesses and institutions in ANZ to keep on top of era-defining innovations and drive growth in the face of continuous technological and market changes,” said Jane Livesey. “My priority is to provide ANZ enterprises and governments with high-quality, market-leading digital transformation capabilities that enhance the lives of people.”

Ms. Livesey is a recognized advocate for women in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics). “As part of Cognizant’s commitment to society, one of my priorities would be to leverage our collective passion, experience and skills to support community programs as we navigate together the impacts of the pandemic,” she added.

Most recently, Ms. Livesey completed the Wayside Chapel Long Walk Home to raise money for the homeless, and the Spirited Women Adventure Race focused on women’s health and fitness.
