My Great-Grandmother. My Great-Grandparents took me in when my parents walked away from my life. My Great-Grandma was born in 1919. When she was 13 years old her mother died from illness and her father was hospitalized from TB. She went from home to home taking care of babies and children as a child herself. She was married at the age of 17 and began raising a family. My Great-Grandpa was a coal miner and suffered a broken leg from the mining. They sold almost everything and moved to Arizona. Two incredibly faithful people who had only an eighth-grade education started over and built a new life for their family. My Great-Grandma worked at Saks Fifth Avenue until I came along. They retired and raised me. Here was a woman who taught me to fight for what I believed and to serve those around me in love and compassion. She fought for me to have an education and I worked hard to be the first in my family at that time to graduate with a bachelor's degree and then a master's degree. My Great-Grandma was a hard worker and a true fighter. I hope I make her proud and am the example for my children and grandchildren as she was for me.

I am a woman with a servant's heart who works to serve those within my community. I have worked in non-profit and government providing support and services for the most vulnerable in Arizona. I am a fighter who refuses to settle for the status quo or the failing narrative of the liberal left. I am willing to go against the grain to do what is right. I am a listener who will take into consideration all sides of a conversation and will continue to do what is Constitutional and the right path for Arizona and America.

To provide leadership and service for Arizona with integrity and courage to fight for what is right against all odds.

The legacy I would like to leave is a lot like my Great-Grandma. She was a woman who took in a child no one wanted and stepped up to protect and serve that child (me). I am committed to protecting and serving America and Arizona to provide a better future full of courage and hope. I am a fighter who is not afraid to stand up for what is right even in the most difficult times.

On April 19, 1995, the Oklahoma City bombing happened. My 14th birthday had just happened a few days prior. We had family in town visiting. I remember the TVs at school showed the news covering the bombing. I remember how this consumed the news for several days. It was the topic of discussion every night. In 2002, I took my Great-Grandma on a road trip. One-stop we had was in Oklahoma City. We went Sunday morning to the bombing memorial site. I remember the chairs that were placed to honor each adult and the little chairs to honor each child who was taken from us in this horrific attack. The impact on me of seeing each chair and remembering the footage from the day everything happened.

Some of the other historical events that impacted my life includes the attacks of 9/11, the fall of the Berlin Wall, the LA riots, and the Gulf War.

Love Your Enemies by Arthur C. Brooks

This book provides a dynamic way of looking at how we can work together and overcome issues to build a stronger and healthier community which is important to being an elected official. I am committed to working together to save Arizona and America.

There are so many top issues and challenges facing Arizona. We need to defend our rights, liberties, and freedoms. We need to secure our water supply. We need to secure our borders. We need to rebuild law and order in Arizona. We need to protect our children from life until natural death. The list is long and I am committed to fighting for all of us for a better tomorrow.

I am interested in serving on the following committees:
- Government
- Health & Human Services
- Natural Resources, Energy and Water
- Education

Representative Shawnna Bolick has been a leader and someone who I admire for defending our rights, liberties, and freedoms. Senator Sine Kerr and Senator Nancy Barto are strong fighters who have worked hard to protect life and expand support for our communities.

The decision to run for office was not taken lightly. As someone who aspires to leadership and has a servant's heart for my community, I would consider running for a different office however this will only be if it is the right move at the right time guided by God.

One of the residents in my district recently had a kidney transplant. In order for her to be considered for the transplant, she was required to receive the COVId vaccine. Her personal and religious beliefs were against the vaccine. She has battled medical conditions and dealt with reactions from therapies, medications, and other treatments. The fear of the unknown of a vaccine had to be shut away so she could have a chance for a better life with a new kidney. At a time in her life when she needed medical intervention that was being held over her the decision for a vaccine seemed as though it is an overreach of medical professionals. They did not require her to receive the flu shot or any other vaccinations just the COVId shot.
