James E. Taylor High School Reviews

I learned more about myself in my years at Taylor High School than at any other time in my life. Transitioning from an international school for the majority of my life, where the resources were more so 'fed' to students, to an environment where everyone was fending for themselves was very difficult at first; as time went on, the many rough patches in my journey sharpened my punctuality and work ethic to a point where I was presumably a new man after graduation. I believe the school has some magnificent teachers and organizations that can breed a learning environment as fruitful as that of many universities, yet the students must be on their toes at all times to receive such. There isn't an announcements forum that delivers centralized registration information for the school's activities, and career and academic advising is received by the student mostly at his/her request, but many of said organizations that the school does host, like FBLA and DECA, are very reputable nationally.
Overall my experience at James E Taylor high school has been exceptional! I have loved my experience with the sports and it has helped me grow as a person. To continue, the academics are very good and I enjoy the vast amount of clubs available to anyone.
This has been a fantastic school for our children. We have been very impressed with the dedication, commitment and caring that very obviously is shown by the staff and administration to the students. The principal and grade level principals are very well liked by students and it shows.,Very welcoming to parents and volunteered. They foster a positive culture of inclusion, respect and academic excellence. They have an incredible amount of sports, student clubs and organizations...there is something for every student. It is a large school that feels smaller due to parent involvement and volunteers dedicated to making this a school kids will love to attend.,Academics are strong. Impressive selection of classes, AP and dual credit opportunities as well. Our oldest was very well prepared for college and SAT's. She was accepted into the honors college and was an AP scholar with honor and jokes that honors college is a breeze because of how well she was prepared by "Taylor University ".
