Man City’s Phil Foden admits £96m Liverpool target excites him so much

Phil Foden has been speaking about some of the most exciting young players in world football.

Speaking to Football Manager on TikTok, Foden was asked to name the young player in his position who excites him the most, and, interestingly, he named a reported Liverpool target.

Indeed, Jamal Musiala is a player who has been linked with the Reds as of late, and according to Foden, he’s the most exciting young attacking midfielder on the planet.

Phil Foden excited by Jamal Musiala

Foden spoke about the £96m-rated Liverpool target.

“Who is a young player in your position that excites you?” Foden was asked.

“Musiala. I think when I watch him he gets me off my seat, he dribbles with the ball so yeah, he’s a player I enjoy to watch,” Foden said.

Jamal Musiala is a star

Foden says that Musiala is one of the most exciting young players in the world, but the reality is that he’s one of the most exciting players in the world full stop.

The Bayern Munich star has been performing at an elite level for quite some time now, and, as Foden says, he’s the type of player who will get you off your seat everytime he gets the ball.

Musiala would be an incredible addition to the Premier League, and if he joined Liverpool, the Reds would reach a new level in terms of entertainment value next season.

Of course, getting a player like Musiala out of a club like Bayern Munich isn’t easy, but given the Bavarian’s current issues both on and off the pitch, perhaps he could be tempted into a return to England this summer.

Musiala would be a statement signing for a club like Liverpool, and he would be a joy to watch in the Premier League if the Reds could get this deal over the line.
