Inter Milan is facing competition for the Slovenian defender Jaka Bijol, with Napoli also showing interest ahead of a summer spending spree.

Inter Milan has a competitor in their interest for Slovenian national team defender Jaka Bijol.

With Serie A status secured, there is a sense of relief in Udine. Players have gone on vacation or, for those participating in the European Championship, have joined their national team camps. Jaka Bijol has been at Brdo pri Kranju for a few days now and is set to be a key player for Slovenia at Euro 2024.

However, this summer is not only pivotal due to the Euros but also for Bijol’s club career. In recent weeks, there has been talk and speculation in Italy about Inter Milan's interest in Bijol.

Inter is not the only club interested. Italian media report that former CSKA Moscow player Bijol is also being monitored by Napoli. The club from southern Italy is preparing for the arrival of a new coach and significant investments.

Whether Bijol will be part of these investments remains to be seen. Napoli has learned that Udinese expects at least €15 million in transfer fees for the Slovenian player.

Bijol has a contract with Udinese until 2027.
