Crystal Palace vs Chelsea injury updates

N'Golo Kante and Edouard Mendy are both back in training after their injuries, but this match will likely come too soon for them to be involved.

‘They’re not available,’ reported Potter. ‘They’re absolutely fine in terms of coming through the rehab stages. NG has been on the grass with the team, but not really full training. Edou is a bit further on, but hasn’t had enough to be involved at the weekend. Maybe next week for him.'

There are also concerns over Marc Cucurella and Carney Chukwuemeka's availability due to illness.

‘We’ve got a bit of illness with Marc Cucurella and Carney,’ added Potter. ‘Apart from that, everybody is fit.’

Crystal Palace will be without long-term absentee Nathan Ferguson. Jack Butland and James McArthur also seem unlikely to recover from their injuries in time to face Chelsea, although defender James Tomkins could return from a calf strain tomorrow.
