Disney producer Jack Morrissey previously posted on Twitter an image of the students at Covington Catholic High School going into a wood chipper (MAGA) "hats first". He has faced no disciplinary actions from Disney whatsoever.

The below image was captured and shared originally by Sarah Palin, and the caption is hers:

Morrissey, the Disney producer known for "Beauty and the Beast" and other high-level work, has since deleted the tweet and apologized on Monday, according to The Wrap.

The tweet and the photo in question is a take on a particularly grizzly scene from the dark comedy "Fargo".

He has also reportedly locked his Twitter profile and not allowed anybody but approved followers to see any of his posts.

Morrissey also issued a statement, saying:

"It was something that I did not give any thought to. It was just a fast, profoundly stupid tweet. … I would throw my phone into the ocean before doing that again."

"Yesterday I tweeted an image based on FARGO that was meant to be satirical — as always — but I see now that it was in bad taste I offended many people — My sincerest apologies. I would never sincerely suggest violence against others, especially kids. Lesson learned."

"I have no issue whatsoever with taking responsibility, but also completely apologizing that I clearly intended it to be seen as satire. That was clearly not recorded that way by many who saw it."

Disney so far has not pronounced on the incident, despite having fired star actress Gina Carano for much less.
