Ivanka Trump broke her almost three-month social media silence to post a photo of her getting a COVID-19 vaccine.
“Today, I got the shot!!! I hope that you do too!” the 39-year-old former first daughter wrote Wednesday alongside photos of her getting jabbed in her left arm while wearing a white T-shirt, jeans and a mask.
“Thank you Nurse Torres!!! 💙” she wrote in her first post to Instagram and Twitter since her father left the White House.
Ivanka got the Pfizer vaccine in Miami, Florida, where she and her family relocated after leaving Washington, DC. Anyone 16 and older is eligible to be vaccinated in the Sunshine State.
She had been offered the vaccine along with other White House staff when she worked as a senior adviser for her father’s administration, but chose to wait, two sources told the Associated Press.
Ivanka told the wire service that “getting vaccinated is our best way to beat this virus and protect ourselves and others.”
Her decision soon started a meltdown among many of her followers, however — with a flood of comments by anti-vaxxers horrified that she would get the shot and try to encourage others to do so, too. Some even claimed the pandemic is a hoax.
“Ivanka no. Just no,” Rayna Johnson replied.
Others suggested that the photos were taken in a way to hide the injection spot, to just make it look like she was jabbed.
“Bummer. I was hoping you were above this kind of virtue signaling,” one follower, Renee Garner Van Dyke, complained.
