The Hot 10: Italia Ricci

She chose between law school and stardom – wisely.

Italia Ricci didn’t plan on being in the spotlight. With law school on the horizon, her life seemed to take a detour after embracing a small film role with now-fiancée Robbie Amell. Since then, she’s never looked back. Italia now headlines ABC Family’s ChasingLife, which has already solidified a spot on the lineup with season two. It’s a dream she’s waiting to wake up from, but with the show’s extremely positive reviews, it seems like Italia is staying put. We’re not complaining.


Italia talked with Maxim about good wine, being confident, and her Big Mac obsession.

I think I feel most sexy when I have a matching lingerie set underneath what I’m wearing. I know what’s going on and no one else does. 

You must have confidence. Or food. A man can give me a steak and he’s got my attention.

I’m a red wine person. It doesn’t need to be super expensive, Robert Hall has a really good one at Trader Joe’s that’s like 11 bucks.

You know who’s awesome? Kate Hudson is awesome. I’m going with her, she should be on the Maxim Hot 100.

With a free afternoon, I’d probably put on a onesie, find something like a really dark, uncomfortable documentary on Netflix, and order pizza with a lot of ranch on the side. I’ll probably do that today.

I love Big Macs. I gave them up for a year and towards the end of 2014, I would go and just stand in McDonalds and smell the air. I literally make inappropriate noises when I eat them. I’m not proud of this addiction but it’s hysterical.

You could have the best manscaping regime around but if you don’t wear it with confidence than it’s not going to be attractive. Just be comfortable.

I have a thing for just a white shirt and blue jeans. I think I grew up looking at too many GAP and Calvin Klein ads. If your ass is hanging out of your pants, don’t bother coming to my door. 


I‘ve been doing a lot of cardio lately so my butt is looking.. I don’t know what the word is. Bubbly? Perky? But yeah, I like my butt.

I want to play in every universe that exists at some point, as long as I’m telling a story I believe I can give a convincing performance. With acting I can do all of these things and still be considered sane.
