About
İstanbul International Spring Film Festival (IISFF) is an annual film festival & film competition with a public screening event held in İstanbul.
We invite submissions of films from all around the world which demonstrate excellence in cinematography and other aspects of filmmaking. We urge filmmakers from all over the world to join us:

All submitted projects are evaluated by a team of experts from the film industry. First, a preliminary jury of 25 people from the film industry will asses the works applying for the competition, after the preliminary assessment, the finalist will be subjected to a second and final assesment by a 9 people main jury.
The main jury includes prominent names from cinema, theater, and literature to different branches of art in Turkey.
Each year, IISFF will award the best projects through public screenings at ZUBEYDE ANA KULTUR VE SANAT MERKEZI in İstanbul.
Each candidate can compete in multiple categories in order to increase their chances to receive an award.

İstanbul Uluslararası Bahar Film Festivali (IISFF), İstanbul'da düzenlenen halka açık bir gösterim etkinliği ile yıllık bir film festivali ve film yarışmasıdır.
Dünyanın dört bir yanından sinematografi ve film yapımının diğer yönlerinde mükemmellik sergileyen film başvurularını davet ediyoruz. Dünyanın her yerinden film yapımcılarını bize katılmaya davet ediyoruz:
AÇIK FİKİRLERE AÇIĞIZ!
Başvuran tüm projeler film endüstrisinden uzman bir ekip tarafından değerlendirilir. Yarışmaya başvuran eserler öncelikle sinema sektöründen 25 kişilik bir ön jüri tarafından değerlendirilecek, ön değerlendirmenin ardından finale kalan eserler 9 kişilik ana jüri tarafından ikinci ve son bir değerlendirmeye tabi tutulacaktır.
Ana jüride sinema, tiyatro, edebiyat gibi sanatın farklı dallarında Türkiye'nin önde gelen isimleri yer almaktadır.
IISFF her yıl en iyi projeleri İstanbul'da ZUBEYDE ANA KÜLTÜR VE SANAT MERKEZİ'nde halka açık gösterimlerle ödüllendirecektir.
Her aday, ödül alma şansını artırmak için birden fazla kategoride yarışabilir.
Awards & Prizes
Producers of all the ranked films will be invited to our closing ceremony and the winners will receive a trophy and a certificate of achievement in HQ format. They will also receive our official Laurel, will be listed on our website and will be able to upload their achievement on IMDb.
Our closing ceremony will be held at Zübeyde Ana Culture and Arts Center of the Beşiktaş Municipality with the participation of prominent names and domestic/international press.
Names of all the ranked films will be included in our press releases.
Rules & Terms
İstanbul International Spring Film Festival is looking for short films as well as feature films, documentaries, student films, animations and trailers.
We accept films of any genres and language with a maximum length of 300 minutes for feature films and 40 minutes for short films and other types. Non-Turkish films must have English subtitles.
We do not accept:
1. Amateur videos.
2. Extremist or propaganda content from religious or political organizations.
3. Pornography.
4. Films with a poor production standard (poor sound, no subtitles/captions for non-Turkish films, video resolution less than 1080p HD).
5. We don’t accept scripts.
6. We don't accept excerpts/scenes from films: The entire film should be submitted.
By submitting your film, take note that:
İstanbul International Spring Film Festival (IISFF) is hereby granted the rights to utilize an excerpt (trailer/teaser/poster/stills) from any film submitted for promotional purposes. The films will not be available online.
If we think that the categories submitted are not to a standard of a IISFF, they will be removed.
The competition reserves the right to reject applications and the jury can remove the movie from the competition at any time.
Entry fees are non-refundable. The individuals or corporations submitting their film hereby warrants that their film is authorized for possible screening (private and/or public) and understands and accepts these requirements, rules and regulations.
Ödüller & Dereceler
Dereceye giren tüm filmlerin yapımcıları kapanış törenimize davet edilir, kazananlar plaket ve HQ formatında bir başarı sertifikası ile ödüllendirilirler. Ayrıca festivalimizin resmi Laurel kullanma haklarının yanı sıra, web sitemizde listelenip, bu başarılarını IMDb'ye yüklemeye hak kazanırlar.
Kapanış törenimiz T.C. Beşiktaş Belediyesi Zübeyde Ana Kültür ve Sanat Merkezi'nde önemli isimlerin ve yerli/uluslararası basının katılımıyla gerçekleştirilecektir.
Dereceye giren tüm filmlerin isimleri basın bültenlerimizde yer alacaktır.
Kurallar & Şartlar
İstanbul Uluslararası Bahar Film Festivali'nde kısa filmlerin yanı sıra uzun metrajlı filmler, belgeseller, öğrenci filmleri, animasyonlar ve fragmanlar yer alabilir.
Uzun metrajlı filmler için en fazla 300 dakika, kısa filmler ve diğer türler için 40 dakika olmak üzere her türden ve dilden film kabul edilmektedir. Türkçe olmayan filmlerin İngilizce altyazılı olması şartı bulunmaktadır.
Kabul görmeyen içerikler:
1. Amatör videolar.
2. Dini veya siyasi kuruluşların aşırılıkçı veya propaganda içerikleri.
3. Pornografi.
4. Kötü prodüksiyon standardına sahip filmler (zayıf ses, Türkçe olmayan filmler için altyazı/altyazı yok, video çözünürlüğü 1080p HD'den düşük).
5. Senaryo kabul etmiyoruz.
6. Filmlerden alıntıları/sahneleri kabul etmiyoruz: Filmin tamamı gönderilmelidir.
Filminizi gönderirken şunu unutmayın:
İstanbul Uluslararası Bahar Filmleri Festivali (IISFF) işbu belgeyle, tanıtım amacıyla gönderilen herhangi bir filmden bir alıntıyı (fragman/teaser/poster/stills) kullanma hakkına sahiptir. Filmlere internet üzerinden erişilemeyecektir.
Gönderilen kategorilerin bir IISFF standardında olmadığını düşünürsek, bunlar değerlendirmeye tabi olmayacaktır.
Yarışma, başvuruları reddetme hakkını saklı tutar ve jüri istediği zaman filmi yarışmadan çıkarabilir.
Başvuru ücretleri iade edilmez. Filmlerini gönderen kişi veya kurumlar, filmlerinin olası gösterim (özel ve/veya halka açık) için yetkili olduğunu ve bu gereklilikleri, kuralları ve düzenlemeleri anladığını ve kabul ettiğini garanti eder.
