After some comments made by one of the developers, some people have some serious distate for Campo Santo as a whole. Likey a combination of that, typical trolls, people that are mad it isn't Firewatch 2, SJW's accusing of improper appropriation of Egypt or using the name of a palce in Utah to describe Egypt etc etc etc
Lot's of reasons, probably few of them very good.
I'm pretty sure 90% of the down votes are because of the Pewdiepie thing.

The trailer looks awesome, but I'm not sold on the 3d style.
ITVOG doesn't look like something I'd play. Shame about there being no FireWatch II.

i just finished firewatch and im curious what was the previous release date for this new game, cause 2029 seems crazy considering the announcement is all the way back from 2018

The game developers have expressly stated that there won't be a sequel. I can understand their not wanting to typecast themselves ... but in broader terms, I really think it's too bad. While the story of Henry and Delilah is over, there are lots of other amazing stories in that ecosystem that deserve to be told.
Yeah i really think there should definitely be a part 2 because there are a bunch of things just left out like what happens to Julia and Delila looks like and who or what killed brian
Brian’s dad says at the end that it was a accident he was trying to teach him how to climb and Brian didn’t set the clamps right and he fell to his death, Brian’s father (ned) decided to hide in the woods instead of “go home and answer questions and put his son in the ground” After that Delilah thinks ned killed Brian. Ned was also the one messing with henry and Delilah following them around and listening to their radio chats
I’m late to play the game, but now that I have, I find myself wanting more. I can’t help but feel like they missed the boat on a survival mode with Ned :D
you should try What Remains Of Edith Finch. Great game.
Just got around to playing this and it was absolutely fantastic. Anyone that enjoyed Firewatch should give it a go.

Please do a second part or something with more maps and stories, i don't know, just do something more! Really loved the game, and it's curious, because i found the game on steam and thought "Yeah an open world game in the forest, something that i love.. let's play it then.. why not?" and i loved it since the beginning!!! I know I’m four years late to the game but a Ron/Dave story would be sick. Either you’re a hiker, or the ranger hired after Dave and you follow the notes to find the end of his story. Maybe he killed himself in the park, maybe he was attacked by the problem bear years ago. Maybe he pulled a Ned and took over an abandoned tower or something!

If you liked Firewatch, you should play The Invincible from 11 bit Studios. I liked the game so much that I read the novel it was based on as well.

im so sad they didnt decide on some sort of sequel. all that build up with Delilah for you to never even see her. bummer
The thing about Delilah is that you never see her, somehow it makes you closer to the character, probably because she looks like whatever you think she does, if they showed her everyone would be at least internally upset that she didn't look like what we thought she would
I love Firewatch, I really need more about Henry and Delilah, I really nead Firewatch 2 although it is not necessary, but I need more.
Same thing dude, the game looks amazing, but I didn’t really like the fact that the developers never revealed Delilah as a character, the only contact with her was through the walkie-talkie, and during the playthrough I hoped until the last minute that I would meet her, it’s a shame that such an amazing game was simply postponed in the far box.
I dont mind them not showing her. What I DO mind is they didnt follow up with anything and the next game that was supposed to be out in 2019 will be released in 2029. Like bro... dont you dare tell me a game like that will take 20 FUCKING YEARS
