In an exclusive interview with MailOnline, the Love Island star spoke about their blossoming relationship.

She said: 'I really like Demi, she’s a lovely girl. Obviously we had our date and I think people took that like she was my serious girlfriend.

'I really like her, I enjoy her company and we literally done a few dates but nothing serious. I still speak to her, she’s really nice.

'I’ve known Demi for about three years through messaging and at events and we’ve always been really good friends. We will see what happens but either way she is just a lovely girl.'

After failing to find love in the villa earlier this year, Eve revealed earlier this month that she and Demi went on a first date.

Speaking about the huge response she received from fans about their relationship, Eve said: 'Everyone has been so positive about it and I got a really positive response.

She added: 'I didn’t expect it to blow up as much as it did but everyone was so lovely and nice about it.'

Eve first divulged details on her love life while appearing on Demi's Squared podcast, alongside her sister Frankie.

Demi said: 'Me and Eve went on a date last week for anyone watching and it was our first date, wasn't it?'

Eve added: 'We kind of had other dates, but it's not been a date date. That was like our first date. I had the best time.'

Eve shared that she and Demi had previously been pals for three years, after meeting at a Boohoo event in London after lockdown.

Describing their first date, Demi told listeners: 'I was nervous [the date] was going to get awkward, you know because usually we've always got people around?

'I was thinking, ''Is there going to be any awkward silences?'', then when I picked you up, you were chewing my ear off. I actually didn't get a word in.

'And then we got there, had a drink, had so much food... and yeah, it was quite a short date to be fair.

'It was quite a private date, though, because we were in Amazonico and we were in this booth and everyone was behind us. People assume we're besties, don't they?'

But Eve admitted that she only had eyes for Demi, adding: 'I said this to Demi, I never would actually go on a date with another girl.'
