Internet-Based Advertising Choices
Discovery allows certain advertising partners to collect personal information from our site and mobile app users, so that we and our partners can deliver ads that are more relevant to you. Below, we explain how you can control the information that is shared for online advertising purposes and important information about those choices.
Digital Advertising Alliance ("DAA") and Network Advertising Initiative ("NAI") Opt-Outs
The Digital Advertising Alliance ("DAA") and the Network Advertising Initiative ("NAI") offer tools to provide consumers with choices as to whether participating third parties can use your information to provide targeted advertising. To opt out of sharing your information with such participating third parties for targeted advertising, please use the following tools:
Google Opt-Out
If you are on the web, you can opt out of interest-based Google ads using Google's Ads Settings. Google also participates in the DAA WebChoices Tool (above).
Facebook Ad Preferences
Facebook offers settings that may control what information Facebook uses about you or your device activity for advertising purposes. Login to Facebook and go to Settings > Ads > Ad Settings (web) or Ad Preferences > Ad Settings (app) for more information.
Adobe Cross-Device Co-Op
To opt out of cross-device linking via the Adobe Experience Cloud Device Co-Op, please visit https://cross-device-privacy.adobe.com/, click "Linked Devices," and then click "Disconnect All Devices." Please note that you may need to disable your ad blocker or cookie blocker to use these controls.
Please note, exercising any of the above opt outs does not prevent us from delivering non-targeted advertising or using personal information for advertising measurement purposes.
