Product Description
In a dilapidated cyberpunk city plagued by crime and corruption, an unscrupulous District Attorney is savagely murdered and tossed out of a building onto his brand new car. Mysteriously, the District Attorney and his car come back to life as a single being with a thirst for vengeance. The eerie driverless car embarks on a vicious rampage exacting revenge on the criminals who murdered him. The Car: Road to Revenge is the stylized sequel to the unconventional horror cult classic The Car (1977), and features an homage to the original with the return of Ronny Cox as the Mechanic.

I live with teenagers of course they wanna know how scary it is 🤦🏾♀️i left the room...All I can say is if you like scary movies rent it...I'm forever scared n don't like black cars 🤣🤣🤣
Unlike Star Wars which completed its saga in 2019, The Car finally got its first sequel.
So, was it worth the wait? No, not really, but Road to Revenge Is an ok movie.
It’s a fun movie that doesn’t appear to have much of a budget. Having said that the movie doesn’t look bad. Now The Car...bad matte paint job that would embarrass Maaco. And don’t get me started about the compressed front end of the original Lincoln near the end of the movie. And I never would have anticipated Ronny Cox’s character ending up where he did.
The story isn’t really why you’d watch this type of movie, but it’s not too bad. And there are enough callbacks to the original to remind you why you’ll want to watch The Car again.
My biggest disappointment with the sequel is no horn. At least the engine revved aggressively.
If you love the original you’ll likely enjoy this sequel If you’ve never seen The Car but are still reading this review, get the original and then decide if this one would be worth your while.
It's like a 12-year-old was the director. The acting is bad and cheesy, the "special effects" are laughable at best, the movie props are flimsy looking, cheap, and poorly built, and they actually sped up the footage in some scenes to make it appear that they're flying down a road faster than they actually were.
I have to point out how BAD the movie props are. First, The Car, called The Lazarus, which is supposed to be this uber-expensive, ultra-lux car, is simply a Chrysler 300 with a poorly made body kit badly taped to it. Even the interior doesn't reflect the "I'm the best car money can buy!" facade it's supposed to be portraying, it's the same Chrysler 300 interior but with a shiny sticker next to the gear shifter to make it look "cool". Then, you have the doors of the car. When they open and close Lambo-style, you can see them flop around like they were made out of construction paper. Moving on from the car, there's a bad guy with a robotic arm that looks like it was made in elementary school during Arts and Crafts hour. I get that it's supposed to be a sort of cyborg type environment like you get in Judge Dredd (the Sly Stallone one) or Blade Runner but this movie doesn't even TRY to make something look decent.
Seriously, why did the makers of this movie allow this? Was this all their allowance could afford? Or, was it getting late and they had to come back inside before it got dark so they just left this trash heap on the front lawn? I could go on further about how bad this movie is but I don't want to invest anymore time into the review.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this movie unless you're with a group of friends and just want to watch a really bad movie to make fun of it.

I liked the temp car driver characters, Ronny cox and the first driver looks like tom cruise. Another new villian looks like bruce campbell. Plenty of naked barbie dolls in this one lol
I don't know who anyone is, I don't know their motives and honestly I don't care. The acting, if you can call it that, is lame and wooden. The scenes are just random and there is no character development.
The original cheesey The Car was WAY better. It was at least entertaining. This movie is dull as a wet rice cracker. Dont waste your money on it...
