This movie is probably one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. This is coming from someone who is a movie buff. The jokes are great and the comedy is lasting. This isn't a movie where you remember the jokes so well you don't want to watch it again. It has replay value for sure. I feel Vince Vaughn was made to play his character.

Can I join Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson as they crash weddings for their own gain? Or could Will Ferrell just teach me the rules of wedding crashing so I can go out and do it on my own? I'd certainly be up for an invitation for a weekend at Rachel McAdams's family compound. No matter what I'd get, I'd watch (and have done so) this film over and over again. Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson are living a dream of having fun without regard for the consequences (at least for a while) and viewers will soon be clammering to join them on their wild escapades. But what this duo truely manages to accomplish is to restrain their antics to the point where they don't become absolutely ubsird (just plain ubsird is reached and that's just fine) while making it look like they are making no such effort. I can't quite figure out whether to think of Christopher Walken as creepy, menacing, clueless, or what, and that's part of his charm in the film. Though they share few, if any, scenes, Jane Seymour nicely plays off this characterization to make herself the relentless cougar who has given up on any actual meaning to her marriage to Walken's character. Rachael McAdams shines in this film and you'll find yourself hoping for her and Wilson's characters to get together the moment he targets her for his (at the time) plans for a one-night-stand (in case you're concerned, those plans seem to go out the window with a cinderblock tied to them before the reception's over, so you can relax...there's already a desire for something more.) In my mind, Isla Fisher is forever type-cast in this role as McAdams's somewhat nutty and certainly manipulative sister (not a bad thing for this film but it might be a hinderence for future projects.) Bradley Cooper may be playing a stereotypical villainous jock-type boyfriend to McAdams who's more interested in himself than her or anyone else, but he plays it so well that you can't help but want him gone...and Owen Wilson takes us in that direction with an eyedropper. Ellen Albertini Dow (there's a mouthful) and Keir O'Donnell round out this nutty family as the foul-mouthed grandmother and artistic homosexual brother who develops feelings for Vince Vaughn. Is it just me or is Jenny Alden the only sane member of that family? Well, whether sane or insane, the family, Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson, and the rest of the cast come together to make a movie that will leave you laughing and wanting to watch them again for more laughs. Enjoy.

i saw this a long time ago and liked it but watching it recently on Prime really put it in one of my favorite comedies. Vince Vaughn was spot on and Owen Wilson was sweet and funny. they really worked well together. Bradley Cooper played such a dick in this, well before his leading man parts. i also thought the story was well written, the bits seemed fresh and original. but the cameo "Mom the meatloaf f..." well that is worth the price of admission alone.
My husband and I watched this movie a long time ago. We saw it on amazon prime and thought let's watch this again w out daughter. We had to turn the movie off half way through because of the sexual content. But when my daughter was asleep we watched it and laughed and laughed. It is a really funny movie but definitely adult funny.
Very funny movie, but caution... Rated R for Nudity, Sexual Content and language. The whole movie is basically about trying "to score" at weddings. The movie is hilarious! They picked the 2 best guys to make this movie. No kids in the house if you watch it.
It's the movie that movies watch for a laugh. If you just joined civilization from being raised by wolves and therefore haven't seen this yet, watch it. If you've seen it before but less than 10 times, or its been longer than a year since last viewing, watch it again. Now.
Watch it while you're still young! Though... you're not THAT young...
5.0 out of 5 starsOne of my all time favourite comedies

Very decent transfer to Blu-ray so no worries there. A comedy that perhaps is an acquired taste but gets better each time for me. This edition comes with the original and new “uncorked” edition that includes interspersed deleted scenes edited into the movie seamlessly. Personally, I didn’t find the uncorked edition funnier; actually I felt it unnecessarily delayed the story and just goes to show how much good editing can affect a film. Students of film take note here. Cast are exceptional and chemistry between them is natural and unforced. Wilson and Vaughan are excellent together but Isla Fisher steals the show as ‘stage five clinger’ Gloria. The supporting cast all have individual moments where they shine and have memorable scenes e.g. Jane Seymour’s ‘kitty kat’ scene is hilarious; Christopher Walken’s scene where Jeremy (Vaughan) is tied to bed is another stand out scene of hilarity; and Will Ferrell’s Chaz, the crasher king, is one of his funniest characterisations. Be aware that there are some risqué scenes that leave nothing to the imagination. What I found remarkable about this movie however is that these scenes actually help the plot and develop the story and characters. Perhaps this is why I stated it’s a film that might be considered an acquired taste. Today, it’s one of my favourite comedies and I enjoy and look forward to my favourite scenes. Like a good wine, it’s gotten better with age...
This has become one of my all-time favourite comedies. I originally saw it at the cinema after the movie I originally wanted to see was sold out. But disappointment quickly turned to glee at this unexpectedly hilarious offering from members of the "Frat Pack". Many times in the cinema hall, I was literally crying with laughter and my belly ached. Similar reactions from the rest of the audience are enough to show that the few who commented negatively on this movie are in the minority.
Vince Vaughan's funny man bounces well off Owen Wilson's charming straight man. The wedding crasher concept is itself original and gets the duo into new and interesting situations. Add to this, a number of wierd and funny characters with which they interact and you have a recipe for side-splitting laughter. The little bit of nudity in it is unnecessary and could have been left out. I don't know why movie-makers insist on including it as leaving it out could have appealed to a wider audience.
I bought this movie on DVD and watch it from time from time when I need a good laugh. The comedy is silly, slap-stick, and juvenile but also very clever. Add to this the romantic stories in the background and you have a great feel-good movie which should be sold with a money-back guarantee.

This film is sooooooooo funny. If you are a fan of the lead cast men than def buy, they basically go to wedding pretending to be guests but where they are so full of guests nobody notices that they aRe crashing it. They sleep with loads of women until one comes unstuck.. Absolutely hilarious
