Still living the dream: Kapuso actress Andrea Torres renews contract with GMA Network

BEAUTIFUL Kapuso actress Andrea Torres is beyond grateful as she renewed her contract with GMA Network last July 16.

As she continues her journey as a Kapuso, Andrea is humbled and excited, “I’ve been doing this for years already but there are still times when I can’t believe it’s all happening. The struggles are still very clear to me. They remind me of how much I wanted this and so I’m always grateful. This is my #1 dream and I just want to relish each moment and make sure I pour my heart out into every opportunity because it wasn’t an easy climb for me. But it sure is worth it. GMA is taking great care of me on and off cam. I’m constantly challenged with my roles and projects and I am just always excited.”

In her many years in the industry, she still aims to inspire through her craft, “I’m very conscious of the energy I give to people. We spend so much time at work so it’s nice to be that ray of sunshine who is fun to be around and easy to deal with.”

GMA Network Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon is proud to have someone like Andrea in the Kapuso Station, “We are happy that you remain a loyal Kapuso. Rest assured, that we will take good care of your career and provide opportunities for your development. We are proud to have you in GMA.”

Mr. Yalong also expressed his gladness to see Andrea stay in GMA, “We are delighted to renew Andrea’s contract with GMA Network. I’m sure the Filipino viewers, even abroad, will be happy that they will continue to see her as a Kapuso in the coming years.”

Atty. Gozon-Valdes shared her admiration for Andrea as well, “I’ve seen you grow so much as an actress these past few years. I’m very happy that you’re a Kapuso and I’m so excited to see your new show, Legal Wives. Congratulations.”

Likewise, Rasonable echoed her excitement for what’s ahead of Andrea’s career path in the Network,  “Congratulations, Ada. I am so excited to watch you in Legal Wives. It’s going to be a big project and something that we can all be proud of. I’m so proud of you for how you have grown over the years and as your father has said, GMA is your home away from home. And that’s how we will forever be to you. So again, congratulations, and we are so proud that you are still a Kapuso.”

Andrea is set to breathe life to the character of Diane in the upcoming GMA primetime series ‘Legal Wives’ which is set to premiere this July 26 on GMA Telebabad.

‘LOLONG,’ HINDI LANG SA BUWAYA IIKOT ANG KUWENTO

Binigyang-linaw ni Ruru Madrid na hindi iikot ang kuwento ng “Lolong” sa buhay ng tinaguriang world’s largest crocodile na may parehong  pangalan sa title ng pagbibidahan niyang  GMA Telebabad series.

Sa isang panayam, sinabi ng Kapuso actor na may mas malalim pang tatalakayin ang sinasabing biggest adventure series ng taon.

Pangalan ng karakter ni Ruru sa serye ang Lolong na isang tao habang  Dakila naman ang pangalan ng 22-feet na animatronics na buwayang magiging kaibigan niya.

Mas tututukan daw ng Lolong ang mga nangyayari sa ating kapaligiran tulad ng climate change, global warming, at ang pagkaubos ng mga hayop lalo na sa Pilipinas.

In a way nga raw, sa paggamit ng Lolong bilang title ng series, ay nagsisilbi itong pagkilala sa pinakamalaking buwayang  natagpuang buhay at sa Pilipinas pa nga ito nadiskubre.

Marami tuloy ang nagsasabing malamang na isa na namang socially-relevant series ang proyetong ito na produced ng GMA Public Affairs. Tatak na raw kasi ito ng nasabing team na siya ring nasa likod ng “Naku, Boss Ko!” at “TODA One I Love” na parehong pinagbidahan din ni Ruru noon. Ang last na seryeng produced ng GMA Public Affairs na “Owe My Love” umikot din sa financial literacy. Tiyak na maraming dapat abangan sa Lolong, kasama na ang iba pang artistang pasok sa serye tulad nina Shaira Diaz at Arra San Agustin.

CAMILLE PRATS, BUBUSUGIN ANG VIEWERS SA BAGONG COOKING SHOW

Tiyak na mai-inspire ang Kapuso viewers na mas maging fit and healthy sa pinakabagong cooking show ng Kapuso Network na ‘Knorr Nutri-Sarap Kitchen’ na mapapanood na sa August 15.

Bibida sa cooking show ang Kapuso actress, TV host, and celebrity mom na si Camille Prats.

Ibabahagi ni Camille ang ilan sa mga masustansya at masarap na recipe na kayang-kayang gawin ng mommies at siguradong magugustuhan ng bawat pamilya.
