Irvington High School Reviews
Rating 3.18 out of 5 208 reviews
First and foremost, Irvington High School is a four year comprehensive community public high school in Irvington, in Essex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, that serves students in ninth through twelfth grades, as the lone secondary school of the Irvington Public Schools. My personal experinece throught my four years were somewhat good with a hint of bad, being that ive surrounded myself around good people determined to succeed. However, i have watched many fights, mental consuming/ draining, and almost life threating situations unfold before me. Though the administrator take their job overly seriously, however i can not say the same for the teachers, as long as theyre getting paid they dont care wether the students learn and expand their knowlegde or not.
Overall it was a bright, it is a school that if you want to achieve something high you would get the right amount of help but if you were just there you wouldn't get much.
This is a school recovering from poor leadership and considering that they are doing quite well. This school suffers from being in a low income area, which comes with its own disadvantages. Irvington High School shines within the teachers who tend to be involved in the students and their development as young adults.
