The Messenger Lite app for iOS is no longer available for download or sending new messages. You can switch to the updated Messenger app for iOS to get the same experience with added features (like the ability to lock your app).
You’ll also be able to keep all of your old information (like your contacts and message history) after moving to the Messenger app, which is just as small as the Messenger Lite app and also faster even when on an older device or in an area with lower connectivity.
You can keep the Messenger Lite app for iOS on your device to view your chat history from it, but note that you won’t be able to download the app again from the App Store once it is deleted.
How to get the app:
You can download Messenger for iOS from the App Store. You’ll be able to log into the Messenger app with the same username and password you used for your Lite app.
