Amazon Prime Video's Invincible has started, and here are the actors and characters on the animated TV show's cast. Created by Robert Kirkman and Cory Walker, Invincible concluded in 2018 after 144 published issues. Shortly after the final issue hit comic store shelves, it was announced that Amazon was adapting the story as an adult animated series. The new series is separate from the Invincible live-action movie Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are developing.

Invincible follows the story of a teenager named Mark Grayson who is the son of Earth's most powerful superhero Omni-Man, an alien from the planet Viltrum. Mark's life is changed near his eighteenth birthday when he finally gains similar superpowers as his father. He soon becomes known as Invincible and helps Omni-Man protect Earth, in addition to joining the superhero team known as Teen Team. As Mark begins his superhero career, though, he must figure out the balance between his regular life and superhero life. This is easier said than done since they become so intertwined.

Known for its surprising and unconventional story, great characters, and a high level of violence, Amazon's Invincible series is a largely faithful adaptation of the comics. This includes quickly establishing a rich world filled with different characters. Some of them will be main figures throughout Invincible, while others are only being set up in the eight-episode first season for a much bigger story. Steven Yeun as Mark Grayson aka Invincible

Steven Yeun plays the lead role of Mark Grayson aka Invincible in Invincible. Yeun is best known for his role as Glenn in The Walking Dead TV series. He also recently received an Oscar nomination for his work in Minari. Yeun's voice can also be heard in animated shows like 3Below: Tales of ArcadiaVoltron: Legendary Defender, and Trillhunters: Tales of Arcadia.

J.K. Simmons as Nolan Grayson aka Omni-Man

J.K. Simmons is the voice of Nolan Grayson aka Omni-Man. Simmons is best known for his role as J. Jonah Jameson in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy and the new take he brought to Spider-Man: Far From Home. He also won a Best Supporting Actor for Whiplash and has appeared in other properties like Zack Snyder's Justice League and La La Land. Simmons' voice-only work includes BoJack Horseman and The Legend of Korra.

Sandra Oh as Debbie Grayson

Sandra Oh provides the voice of Mark's sweet and caring mother Debbie Grayson in Invincible. The actress is best known for her role as Dr. Cristina Yan in Grey's Anatomy and her recent role in Killing Eve. Sandra Oh's voice can also be heard in Raya and the Last Dragon and She-Ra and the Princesses of Power.

Zazie Beetz as Amber Bennett

Zazie Beetz provides the voice of Amber Bennett in Invincible. Amber is one of the main love-interests in the comics for Mark. Beetz is best known for her role as Van in FX's hit series Atlanta and as Domino in Deadpool 2. Her other credits include appearances in Joker and The Twilight Zone.

Gillian Jacobs as Atom Eve

Gillian Jacobs plays Atom Eve, another love-interest for Mark and a member of the Teen Team who can manipulate the state of atoms. Jacobs is best known for her role as Britta Perry in Community. Her recent credits include Disney+'s Magic CampThe Twilight Zone, and a guest appearance on Rick and Morty.

Jason Mantzoukas as Rex-Splode

Jason Mantzoukas plays Rex Splode, a rival of Mark's and fellow Teen Team member who can accelerate molecules with energy to make them explode. Mantzoukas has appeared in many of the biggest TV comedies in recent years, including The Good PlaceParks and Recreation, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. He's also lent his voice to Big Mouth and DuckTales.

Zachary Quinto as Robot

Zachary Quinto plays Robot in Invincible, with his character serving as the leader of the Teen Team. Quinto is best known for his roles as Sylar in Heroes and as Spock in JJ Abrams' Star Trek movies. He's also had roles recently in The Boys in the BandNOS4A2, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Quinto also voiced Aiden in Big Mouth and Lex Luthor in Superman: Man of Tomorrow.

Lennie James as Darkwing - James is best known as Morgan from The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead. He plays the Guardians of the Globe's Batman parody, Darkwing, in Invincible.

Michael Cudlitz as Red Rush - Cudlitz is best known for his role as Abraham in The Walking Dead, and he's also appeared in Southland and Clarice. He voices the Guardians of the Globe's speedster Red Rush.
