Student of TUM School of Computation, Information and Technology wins DAAD Prize

Joana Becheva was awarded the DAAD Prize of 1,000 euros. The master's student of Information Systems comes from Bulgaria and impressed the jury with her excellent bachelor thesis "Implications of China's Social Credit System on German Companies and NGOs", among other things.

Moreover, during her studies, Joana Becheva stood out for her commitment to intercultural and social exchange. For example, she is a senior mentor in the MINGA program (Mentors for International & Guest Students from Abroad), where she provides advice and support to international students and organizes activities such as excursions, tours and get-togethers for international students.

The DAAD Prize is designed to present the many international students at German universities and share their personal stories and accomplishments.
