We attended the final day of the BNP Paribas Open 2024 and we really enjoyed the experience. It was our first time seeing a tennis match and we were in section 415 row D. I was worried that we would not be able to see and was pleasantly surprised that we had a great view. I would maybe even get seats higher up next time to save some money. The venue did not seem overly crowded considering how many people were there. The champagne and tequila tents were fun and I had a really good chicken sandwich for $19. Considering the venue, I though it was reasonable and the line was not long at all. Between the women's and men's final, we were able to go to Stadium 2 and watch the juniors play. They were amazing! Our hotel provided a free shuttle so we did not have to deal with parking. It was a well run event and we hope to return!

The golf course is in great shape. It is a very nice layout and enjoyable to play. One problem, we were a 4 some and we had 2 twosomes behind us. They complained to ranger and he reprimanded us twice for slow play. Yet we played in under 4 hours. Ruined my round!

Nice tribute to a great President & General! I was impressed by the carefully chosen words of history written on the plaques describing Ike’s achievements, the American wars he was involved in and the important history of the Cold War thru which he was our President.
I was only a 10 year old kid in Cleveland when he retired to Gettysburg but I recall the great respect he commanded from everyone in our family of Democratic’s - most especially the WWII veterans who voted for him anyway- Party be damned.
His respectful conduct pre & post presidency should serve as an exemplar to all former Presidents.
This would be an excellent short stop to take the kids or grandkids if you happen to be in the desert area.
It provides an excellent opportunity to remind ourselves & tell the children of a great American hero.
It also does you the favor of bringing you to the town of Indian Wells where Ike had a winter home after he retired in 1961. It’s beautifully situated below the high mountains with carefully groomed streets carefully lined with tall majestic palms. It’s grown from a sleepy desert community to one of the most affluent in California. To tour the well manicured neighborhoods is also an enjoyable drive. And one of the principal draws to Ike was the outstanding golf courses which I’m happy to say remain.

Golf in the night was a hit with the family. Our only complaint was that it was only an hour--we would've played a lot longer. Fun atmosphere with a DJ and a food truck. Will definitely go back

Toscana County Club is the crowning achievement of developer Bill Bone, who built many of the golf club communities in the Palm Springs area.

We happend to see this Farmers Market happening on Thursday morning as we were making our way from Palm Desert out to the Salton Sea. Stopped to check it out and loaded up on local dates, bread, Italian cookies and some gifts for foodies back home. Very nice selection of goods. Very clean and organized. Pandemic protocols in place.

Went here with four other ladies on a Thursday night. We had cocktails in the bar first and then dinner in the back patio area. Food and drinks were both very good. (I had the goulash.) The bar was pretty busy when we finished dinner, and they had a live band playing. We got to dance a little which was fun. The only thing I didn’t like is that the bar is very loud which makes conversation difficult.

On our way out, we stopped by to check out the extensive collection of personal care products available in their store. The staff were courteous, helpful, and we wish we could have time to take advantage of their full services.

This review is about the Sands Spa specifically (I did not stay at the hotel). I went to get a spa treatment at the Sands Spa to kick-off my Bachelorette weekend and it was amazing! My spa treatment was performed by Steven who was excellent. He was very kind, professional, and knowledgeable throughout. I also really appreciated that he explained what to expect at the beginning and continued to tell me what the purpose of each step was throughout since it was my first time getting a body treatment. At the end, he also gave me some tips for helpful stretches that could help target my tense areas. The spa is pretty small so be sure to make an appointment in advance (and maybe factor in some extra time afterwards to enjoy a drink at the hotel restaurant). Steven was great and the spa (and hotel) decor was adorable - I would recommend to anyone visiting the Palm Springs area!
