Booker T. & The MG's* – In The Christmas Spirit

I can't see any mention of a cutting engineer in the runout grooves, unfortunately.
It's an okay pressing, but playing it right after the Jackpot Records "Soul Dressing" cut by Kevin Gray, it's bland and nothing to write home about.
I know, apples and oranges because it's two different titles, one mono and one stereo and all that but if you are into Booker T. & the MGs, do yourselves a favour and buy Soul Dressing on the Jackpot label first.

Great album , all instrumental - excellent Hammond B3 organ Xmass tunes...jungle all the way!

This one needed some wet cleaning, but it sounds great. Little to no surface noise (some spread out pops and clicks remained), but nothing that detracts from the music, really.

The bass really slaps. The final tune is so groovy you can see St. Nicholas dancing!

The organ does sound with a bit of clipping, but I'd say it's just the usual behaviour of this instrument on the original recording.

Arguably the best Christmas record I own. Also, very nice colorway. I feel this one's how Fiona Apple's Extraordinary Machine should've looked like. Heavier on the green than on the blue.

A friend loaned me his copy of this record and holy cow—this pressing is phenomenal! Duck’s bass sounds so fat and heavy and Booker’s organ truly wails. Cropper’s tasty Christmas licks sound so soulful and the drums keep the time as always. The dynamics on this release are simply amazing—I’ve never heard this album sound so fresh and lively! This record wasn’t ever really reissued recently and OGs are crazy expensive (and vary widely in sound quality). Having this album done with the full audiophile specs in mind is a Christmas miracle for BT&MGs fans.

VMP hit this one out of the park; grab one while you still can!

Seems like the three entries for the 2021 VMP limited reissue on blue christmas galaxy vinyl need to be merged.

Great reissue. Fine job by Sundazed and worth picking up.
