We’ve been to Impression 5 a handful of times with our eldest, but this was our first trip as a family of 4. At 2.5, our daughter is finally big enough (and tall enough) to enjoy the water area outside of the little kid room. Which speaking of, we love that they have thought of families with young children and they have a dedicated play space! AND as a nursing mom, I was beyond impressed that Impression 5 has a nursing room for those of us who prefer a little privacy while feeding our babies. FYI - the entire facility is nursing friendly. We’ll be back a couple more times this year, and for years to come.
Our only suggestion is an increase in available parking for visitors and members.

I went here as a kid and was wowed by the exhibits. Now as an adult, I'm even more impressed. Impression 5 has grown with the times to include special events from Star Wars, Hot Wheels, and Lego, not to mention technology exhibits to get kids interested in science.

This place is good for little ones 1-6 years. However older kids will find it boring. It is relatively small and becomes crowed fast. Wish they offered more for older kids.

It is big and open and there is a whole area dedicated to pretending to be a doctor, dentist, etc. So may fin things I can't remember them all. My son would have stayed five hours if I hadn't dragged him out after 3 1/2. He is 7 years old.

This is just 15 mins from Okemos located @ 200 Museum Dr. Lansing MI 48933, very nice to spend atleast 4 hrs and try to repeat some of the stuff again and again, where my daughter liked the Slime creation & then jumped to other ones, which is really fascinating and keep the kids occupied. My younger one is running around spending time on

Great time with our scout pack for an overnight field trip. Staff was great, fun activities, and lots of free time to explore and play. Kids had an awesome time and want to come back.

Since our grandson was 3, he has enjoyed visiting Impression 5. Lots to do and learn about. Classes are appropriate for his age.

Do you want to learn about science? Do you like hands on learning. If your answer to these questions is "Yes", then a visit to Impression 5 is in order. Inside a repurposed factory/warehouse are exhibits and activities aimed at both providing answers and provoking more questions. Although seemingly geared toward those in middle school and younger, older teens and adults will find many of the exhibits just as fascinating, as well as instructive. The atmosphere is "kid friendly" and even has a space especially for toddlers and their caregivers. Water tables and soap bubbles , simple machines and interactive exhibits , such as optics and electricity all share a unique space that is one of Lansings hidden gems.

Best place for kids to experience science - hands on! They've thought of everything and made it all so much fun! There's even really neat bathrooms. Can't say enough about this attraction. Go experience it for yourself; fun for kids and adults alike!

Sorry, we were on Labor Day holiday. Yes, 5 year old will love day. There are a few exhibits that can entertain a thee year old.
Take food & drinks for them. We took our grandchildren, 5 and 2 with us. They had a blast.
Can you leave and be readmitted on the same day if you are not a member?
