Chanel Iman Is Engaged!

It’s engagement season! Former Victoria Secret model and style plate Chanel Iman will soon be a married woman agin. New England Patriots player, Davon Godchaux, got down on one knee to ask for Iman’s hand in marriage, according to a collaboration Instagram post from the couple. The two made their relationship official in April 2022, and their union has waxed strong since. The announcement has been received with love from their fans.

A Dream Proposal

The couple’s Instagram announcement of their engagement included a swoon-worthy image shot in Capri, Italy.

“The blessings keep pouring, grateful for this new chapter and soon to be married and a forever to go,” the model wrote in the caption.

The post included a carousel of photo from what looked like a dream engagement. In the photos, Godchaux is seen on his knee with a ring box open smiling up at a delighted Iman. The model is wearing a delicate, white see-through dress. Just a hint of her baby bump is peeking through. The Italian landscape shown in their engagement photos features lush hillsides and deep blue water. Iman also shared a first look at her stunning ring. The carousel closes out with the smiling couple walking hand in hand.

“CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!! You deserve it allllllll!!!! So happy for you guys! These pics are full of so much JOY!,” one user commented.

Some comments also hinted at Iman’s previous marriage to New York Giant player Sterling Shepard which ended in divorce.

“I love that she found love …after sadness,” another noted.

First A Baby, Now A Ring

The engagement between Iman and Godchaux comes merely weeks after Iman announced her pregnancy with Godchaux.

“Our family is growing and we are so excited to meet our new little one,” Iman shared on her social media.

The announcement preceded numerous pregnancy speculations. Paparazzi photographed Iman with her hand on her stomach during a vacation trip in Miami.

Iman has two daughters with Shepard. Iman and Shepard separated due to irreconcilable differences. Godchaux has a son from a previous relationship. Iman and Godchaux have not revealed the due date for their first child together.

A Bigger Family

Iman and Godchaux’s union has found them combing both of their families. On social media the two often share pictures of Godchaux’s son and Iman’s daughters spending time together. The five have since become a family unit. They often vacation together and recently attended Nickelodeon’s Riviera Maya resort as a group.
