The Andorran goalkeeper extends his contract with Villarreal for three more seasons
Iker Álvarez will continue defending the Yellow Submarine goal until 2026. The Andorran international who had one more year on his contract extends his link with Villarreal CF for two more years, thus his contract now runs until 30th June 2026.

Iker Álvarez came to the José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground from Gimnàstic Manresa in the 2017/18 season to join Villarreal U19s. Since then, Iker has made the step up to Villarreal C in the Third RFEF División and, subsequently, to the Villarreal B teamwho got promoted to the Second Division and stayed up this past season. In the silver flight, Iker has played a total of 23 games and a total of 2,070 minutes.
