The album “If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power” by Halsey was released on August 27, 2021. It is the fourth studio album by the American singer-songwriter. The album was produced by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross of Nine Inch Nails. It marked a departure from Halsey’s previous work and features a heavy industrial influence. Halsey described it as a concept album about “the joys and horrors of pregnancy and childbirth”.
The album received mostly positive reviews from critics, who praised its ambitious concept and theatrical production.
