Through powerful imagery and videography, this film encapsulates the possibility of powerful change in light of horrific events. After watching this, it is hard to dispute that one person is enough to make a difference. It is heartbreaking to see Wiesenthal faced with hostility and opposition, but, summed up with a powerful quote from his daughter, "Any threat made my father more convinced that it was his duty to continue." For many, the war ended days and years after liberation. For Wiesenthal, the war lasted with him forever.

Had heard the name, but didn't know anything about him. Amazing that he dedicated his life to finding as many Nazis as he could, since his own life was sidetracked by the Holocaust. He and his wife lost 90 members of their families between them.

The story of Simon Wiesenthal is fascinating - and his dogged pursuit of Nazi war criminals is literally the inspiration for great thriller novels & films. However, this film attempts to cover so much ground that it ends up skimming across the top of most of the stories. There are a few brilliant moments - almost all of which involve interviews with Simon Wiesenthal. Those aside, this is pretty standard documentary filmmaking.

This is incredibly moving painting the story of a man who almost single handedly helped insure justice was carried out amongst many of the Nazi perpetrators. It shows his undying faith and fortitude against odds and critics until the day he died at 96.
