i’m so confused and idk if i messed up

so usually me and my adopted mom go into the school for my fafsa forms bc things can get kinda confusing. for the 24-25 year we did it at home and idk if we did it right. for context i am 20 years old. while filling it out, we checked yes for the have you ever lived with a legal guardian other than parent or step parent. i’m not sure if i’ve don’t that right because i was out into foster care at 8 years old and adopted by my foster mom when i was 10. so i did live with a different guardian but i’m not sure if it meant after a specific age… it’s so frustrating bc i was in and out of foster care most of my life but since i was adopted before 13 i feel like i’ve been robbed of certain benefits. so i guess my question is did i fill that out correctly? it had me file as an independent but in the past we have done dependent.

another issue is i put $0 income for my wages bc i haven’t worked much and i’m not sure if that is corrects either. i think i did make some money but i never filed taxes in 2022 bc it wasn’t a lot so did i mess up?!
