One of the most valuable aspects of my Hume-Fogg experience was the preparation it provided for college. The rigorous coursework and high expectations instilled in me a strong work ethic and the ability to manage my time effectively. Additionally, the supportive network of teachers, counselors, and peers equipped me with the tools and confidence to navigate the college application process successfully.
Moreover, Hume-Fogg's emphasis on critical thinking and analytical skills has been invaluable in my college studies. Whether it's writing research papers, participating in class discussions, or tackling complex problem sets, I find myself drawing on the foundation laid at Hume-Fogg to excel in my academic pursuits.
Beyond academics, the sense of community and camaraderie I developed at Hume-Fogg has stayed with me long after graduation. The friendships forged and the memories created during my time there are cherished treasures that continue to enrich my life.

Hume-Fogg is a great school to go to if you are willing to put the work in. It's very rigorous, and the students here are mostly quite smart, but after a year or two it gets draining and most of my friends, including myself, are burned out and we still have a year to go. The culture is wonderful and I've met so many amazing people, but sometimes the teachers and administration (as well as the general culture of going to a magnet school) can be very competitive, and the school does a great job at making excellent students feel not-so-excellent at times, due to the incredibly high and frankly unrealistic standards that teachers and other students hold themselves to. My teachers have all been incredible and genuinely love teaching whatever topic they're in, and there's plenty of resources for students in the library and counseling office.
Hume-Fogg offered me the best education I could ever ask for. The teachers are kind, intelligent, and extremely involved in their students' success. I have been greatly prepared for college via the stellar academics in this school. The worst experience is the emphasis of certain sports over others. For example, basketball is prioritized much higher over other sports. I would like to see equal respect and support shown for all spots at Hume-Fogg
