What travelers are saying
- Mike XChicago, IL2,045 contributionsLots of ancient musical instruments. They have shows periodically that you need to reserve tickets for. There is one sword on the 2nd floor that you should head up to see first because a line forms really early though the day.Written December 12, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Deanosaur89Edmonton, Canada2,287 contributionsWe went here on the Chinese Labour Day weekend. It was busy but manageable. The area has some nice gardens as well. The highlight is the tower and they have tower shaped fudgesicle ice cream which was a nice treat.
Cost to enter is 70 RMB and one to two hours is plenty of time here.Written May 3, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It's very hot everywhere in the city. We had to go out in the morning/night and stay indoor in the afternoon. We enjoyed a morning walk along Dong Hu Lv Dao in East Lake. I love their scenic views, lotus flowers, and cool breeze along the lake. They have nice pedestrian walkways along the lake. Plenty of tree shades and benches made it a very relaxing and enjoyable walk. The park is huge. If you don't want to walk, there are shuttles (not free) going around the park. The shuttle routes and transfer stations are a bit confusing. We had to ask for people's help. Luckily Wuhan people are very friendly, so we did not have any trouble finding our way at all.Written May 18, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sheikh-ImranWuhan, China193 contributionsIt is an important bridge of Wuhan. I think visiting at the afternoon or evening is better. You can have a great view there. You should cross the bridge on foot.Written October 28, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- thetravellingfugu177 contributionsAmazing show, lots of stunts and acrobatics. The storyline was rather weak though. Staging is very well done too. We bought our tickets at the counter as we were unable to find it online. Show started at 7.30pm, duration of 90 minutes.
Don’t be deceived by the theatre, it looks closed however the ticketing booth is located at the side door at the corner. The main doors only open when admitting guests for the show.Written November 5, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. You can find old styled trains, and cars there, then there are some sort of a pirate ship rides available...but still be happy to see it.Written February 18, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tural TuranWuhan, China20 contributionsWe can call it amazing, awesome and impressive place in such a big city as Wuhan. The entrance is free, although it`s not allowed to enter with car or bike. But it`s a great opportunity to walk around East Lake, to discover such places as Monkey Mountain, Plum Hill, Crape Myrtle Garden, Taiyu Bridge, Double Ropeway and other scenic areas. The place is suitable as for individuals, as for couples and groups (no matter of size). Prepare your food and beverage, because on your way it could be difficult to find any snacks. If you really fan of nature, this is right match for you!Written January 14, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ricardo MagalhãesPorto, Portugal354 contributionsVery good place to take a walk. The park is huge. You can ride a bicycle or walk. We visited the place in the winter so with the low temperature is not so good. During the spring/summer you can do some activities.Written January 5, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - mrbottleskidspartySingapore, Singapore26 contributionsNever seen a chinese temple like this. Gothic style like a cathedral yet, all the statues are chinese. The place is not a tourist hot site, so it’s relatively quiet when I went.
