Hubbard High School Reviews
Rating 3.62 out of 5 346 reviews
Hubbard High School has a variety of many classes going from general, honors, AP, IB, and Dual Credit. They push their students to really try out at least an honors class and from there they encourage their students to enroll in higher ranking classes. They also encourage all students to stride towards college and they work hard to get students college ready. When it comes to clubs and activities for the most part there’s one for everything and everyone. If there isn’t, the students can make their own which is a lovely concept. There are also many different sports for each student to try out.
One of the issues that the school has is excess crowding. Students cannot comfortably navigate the hallways most of the time without being pushed or hit by other students since they lack space. Making it difficult for students to get to class on time. Though school security does a good job at protecting kids in case they get into fights, they are aware of their surroundings and know how to act to not escalate the situation. Also, the staff and teachers seem to be very involved with the students and care for them, giving students the choice of after-school teaching if they struggle with certain topics. The building may need funding to fix the roof and the girl's gym. The floor looks ugly compared to the boy's gym.
The best part about attending hubbard highschool is the community built around our neighborhood, the parents, the students, staff, and community around us, that help us stay connected and becoming a better school all together. I enjoy the sports here at hubbard highschool, all the activities and events held at the school that brings all students together into enjoying our school together. The worst part could be sometimes students won’t get along and there would be a physical altercation but that is due to personal problems between students, but overall the staff keep everything under control and make sure the students here are safe and heard if there is ever anything going on that needs to be brought attention. I enjoy attending hubbard highschool and wish for the upcoming students to enjoy there time here because it really is a fun, welcoming, diverse learning environment where everyone has a chance to express who they are with one another.
